Quirks- do they sit at the door or whine or do circles when they need to go out? Do they act like they haven’t been fed when they have and it’s causing weight issues? Do they chew or get defensive in certain situations? Do loud noises or excessive attention bother them? Are they snuggle butts? Do they like or hate car rides? Is a crate comforting to them? Babies? Snacks? Are they a singer or dancer?
A typical day
Wake-outside-eat-rest-depends if it’s a in-town day or an out of town day (rest a lot or play a lot). Basically I’m almost always home & I have 2 young children & we treat the pups/ animal guest like family. If we’re having steak & he/she can, we share! We play outside, take walks & visit the nearby dog parks. Snuggling on furniture is allowed! But I keep my home very clean- I vacuum nightly- so clean pets please. Crates are welcome, beds, bowls, toys, lovies & blankets are encouraged!

Pet care experience
I have been taking care of pets through Rover since early 2024 and it is the best thing ever! I grew up with many dogs and even married a military K-9 handler once upon a time. In my journeys, I learned a thing or two. My elementary-aged children have learned so much about different breeds and temperaments, and helped me to share so much love! We have boarded mostly dogs- puppies to elderly, some with medication or disabilities/ behavioral issues; some 1:1 and some mixed packs 4 pups at a time. (Currently multi-boarding is limited.) We’ve had a few cats (all amazing- my daughter loves cats but my son is allergic). I take care into deciding whether or not to board animals together based on many factors, and always try to consult with pet parents ahead of time.

Jenni is so good with all dogs apparently. Gucci was in love from DAY ONE! I will choose Jenni EVERY time! Communication was top tier, she made Gucci feel at home and for that alone I’m thankful. Now that I’ve found her on this app Gucci will NEVER go to the kennel/boarding center again! I will literally plan our next trip around Jenni’s availability! She sent pics and gave us beautiful updates showing us how comfortable our dog was sleeping on his back legs in the air lol. That says a lot! If you’re considering Jenni just go ahead and book! You won’t be disappointed and neither will your pup!
