I bring over 20 years of hands-on animal care experience, starting with volunteering at Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre, where I worked with a wide range of animals including birds, small mammals, and wildlife in need of rehabilitation. That experience taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to adapt care to each animal’s personality. At home, animals have always been part of my everyday life. I’ve had my own cat for over 14 years, so I’m very familiar with routines like feeding schedules, litter care, and respecting a pet’s need for space (or sudden 3 a.m. zoomies). I also regularly help care for my boyfriend’s dog, so I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, and keeping up with energetic pups as well. I’m calm, reliable, and attentive, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality — whether they’re cuddly, shy, independent, or “I only like you on my terms.” My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

Schedule
I currently work part-time as a crisis worker at SHN hospitals, working about 3 shifts per week. This schedule gives me a lot of flexibility and availability throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Because of this, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care and can easily adjust my routine to fit your pet’s needs — whether that’s regular walks, drop-ins, or longer stays. I’m reliable, consistent, and able to provide attentive care without rushing. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle, and I genuinely enjoy spending my extra time with animals, so your pets will always get my full attention and care when I’m with them.
