Pet care experience

Special needs dog lover 🤍

I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was young, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. In August 2025, my three-legged Dachshund became paralyzed after a spinal cord injury. He never regained feeling in his back legs, and for nearly 10 months I provided around the clock care to give him the best quality of life possible. I performed daily physical therapy, manually expressed his bladder and bowels, helped him eat, transported him to rehabilitation and acupuncture appointments, and adapted our home and routines to support his mobility. Although he had only one functioning leg, he continued to live a happy, love filled life until we had to say goodbye. That experience gave me extensive hands on experience caring for a disabled companion and deepened my love and understanding of animals. I have a special place in my heart for senior, disabled, and special needs furry friends, and I'm comfortable providing extra patience, medications, mobility assistance, and individualized care when needed. Since losing my dog, I have found myself with extra time and would love to spend it caring for other people's furry family members. I am self employed and work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the animals in my care. I'm also very active and love going on walks, playing outside, or simply spending time cuddling on the couch, whatever makes your furry friend happiest. My goal is to make every companion feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away.

Safety, trust & environment

Creating a safe, comfortable environment is my top priority. My home is located in a quiet neighborhood and features a large, fully fenced backyard with a 10-foot privacy fence, giving dogs plenty of room to safely explore, sniff, play, and relax. The yard also has plenty of shade, making it a comfortable place to spend time outdoors even on warmer days. Inside, I have pet gates to help manage spaces safely, along with toys, cozy beds, and designated areas for rest and relaxation. I understand that every animal has a different personality and comfort level, so I also provide private spaces where a furry friend can decompress and have some quiet time if they are feeling nervous, overwhelmed, or simply prefer their own space. My goal is to create a calm, low-stress environment where every companion feels safe, secure, and cared for throughout their stay.

Took great care of my pup, coming for all the walks as we planned and communication. Will definitely use again.

Jenna has been a thoughtful caring others oriented person since she was a little girl. She has pet sit on and off for so many years. She always said yes whenever any neighbor or friend asked for Jenna to pet sit when they went on vacation or were out of town- and, she never complained! She loved it! She is the biggest animal lover in our family! We had dogs a lot of her childhood and she always wanted more pets! She would lay in our yard with the neighbors cat that always seemed to find its way to our yard. Hmm, I wonder why! Call Jenna! She will love and take care of your let as if it were her own!

Schedule

Because I'm self employed and work entirely from home, I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, and playtime instead of leaving your furry friend alone for long periods. I live in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, sniff, and explore. Whether your companion loves to stay active or simply relax with someone nearby, I can provide a calm, comfortable environment where they'll feel right at home.

The more I know about your furry friend ahead of time, the better I can make their stay safe, comfortable, and stress free. Please let me know about any medical conditions, medications, mobility limitations, or special needs, as I'm happy to accommodate them. Since I do have a cat, it's also important for me to know if your dog is comfortable around cats or has a high prey drive. If needed, my cat can be safely separated in her own space during your companion's stay. I also appreciate knowing if your dog is an escape artist, tends to bolt through doors, climb fences, or has any behaviors that require extra precautions. Every companion is different, and understanding their unique personality and needs helps me provide the best care possible while preventing any issues before they happen.
