I am a full-time teacher in Tempe, and I live in Ahwatukee, so during the school year, I can accept jobs that do not require care during the day and are within 25 minutes of where I work. Over the summer, I have more flexibility when it comes to location and taking care of dogs during the day.

A typical day
I like to take the dogs I watch on daily morning walks before it gets too hot outside and play their favorite game (i.e. catch or tug of war) at least once a day.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Jenna. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a little girl. I’ve lived with Beagles, Jack Russel Terriers, Mini Golden Doodles, Australian Shepards, and Britney Spaniels. So I know how to walk distracted, energetic dogs, and calm dogs. I have potty trained some of the dogs listed above and kennel trained them, so I understand having to leave dogs whining in the kennel and cleaning up after dogs in the house. I have also had to feed up to three dogs at the same time while keeping them separated. A note on cats: I have taken care of cats but I am allergic. If the main care is for the dog I am willing to discuss there being a cat involved and lowering the rate. The rate is high to deter sole-cat owners.
Reviews
I have never had anyone live in the house and look after our two Aussie Doodles, but on meeting Jenna I knew they would be in good hands. Jenna sent messages and photos through every day. They definitely loved being with her. I would recommend Jenna and having someone look after your pets at home.
Our thanks to Jenna for taking care of our beagle as he adjusts to a new home. She is thoughtful, conscientious and a wonderful pet sitter.
Jenna was fantastic! She took great care of my little guy. She sent photos and videos to keep me updated on how he was doing. Would recommend if you’re looking for a sitter!
