I’m a freelance classical musician with a love for pets. My weeks can be fairly variable with 8-4 M to Fri and Sunday nights being the most consistent availability. Pets I watch can be left alone for a minimum of 4 hours to facilitate my freelancing schedule.

Routines are important to a pet’s wellbeing and I strive to ensure those needs are met in my care. This includes following normal feeding times, dietary requirements, and giving them regular attention and exercise. Any behavioral information about your pet is useful as I can be conscious of environmental stressors like storms or loud noises and respond appropriately. I also like to keep an eye on symptoms of any pet allergy or medical issues such as hey fever or ear infections. While your pet is in my care, I strongly value consistent communication as a way to ensure your pet’s needs are met, reduce owner stress during the separation, and prevent any logistical issues regarding travel.

Please let me know if there’s any behavioral information about your pet I should be aware of such as temperament, environmental stressors, allergies, or special needs. I have experience with senior dogs, pets with disabilities, pets with separation anxiety, and animals who require daily oral medication. I unfortunately am not well suited to care for dogs with aggressive tendencies and will not accept those bookings. I require a no cost meet up prior to any services to establish expectations, get a feel for your pet’s daily routine, and meet your furry friend.
A typical day
High energy dogs will see a couple different walks exploring the neighborhood and possibly checking out a local dog park if they’re sociable. Across the board all animals will have several hours of pets, playtime, and cuddles if inclined. Depending on the breed I do offer bathing and grooming for a small fee to help support the pet’s needs and continue regular routines. With senior pets, I’ll defer to the owner’s discretion regarding walks, fetch, and more strenuous activities. If treats are okayed, I’ll gladly add them to any playtime or test your pet’s training knowledge.

I’m an animal lover with 5+ years experience caring for dogs and cats. I find a genuine joy in spending time with pets and will do whatever I can to make your life easier regarding their care. I’m attentive, communicative, and willing to send a truly absurd number of photos to ease any anxiety being away from them. I have experience administering pill medication and will diligently check any special instructions you may include.
