Pet care experience

Experienced, vet med, all pet types

As a veterinary assistant for over 3 years and a pre-vet student, I’ve been passionate about animals since I was very little and began pet sitting over 10 years ago. I have experience with many different animals in clinical settings, home, farm and zoo settings. Most of my work experience has been in emergency medicine. I have also enjoyed rescuing and fostering dogs, cats, and exotics. One of my college courses was on dog training, and I have trained my own dogs, birds, and rodents. I’ve also studied exotic/zoo medicine and conservation abroad in South Africa for 4 weeks!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I spend as much time as I can with the pets I care for and make sure to give them love, attention, and exercise just like I would my own animals. They will get lots of belly rubs and cuddles! Depending on how they tolerate it, I can do nail trims and baths if requested.

House Sitting • Sep 01, 2026

Jenna was great with Bennie! She hung out with him all day while I was on a day trip. She sent me pictures of him throughout the day and he looked liked he was having a great day! When I came home, everything was the way I left it, and Bennie was super calm when I came home! Would rebook again!

House Sitting • Aug 21, 2026

Jenna was a lifesaver and agreed to sit my pups when another sitter canceled last minute. She took great care of them for the night I was away! I would definitely book with her again if she’s available.

Jenna has house/farm/dog sat for us for two summers now. She has been wonderful. She is trustworthy and I know my animals are all well cared for while she’s there. Highly recommend her!

Jenna has been pet sitting for our family for over 7 years. She is highly recommended!! She takes amazing care of all our animals, from two very large Newfie’s, a crazy Golden and a small spirited Mini-Aussie, 9 chickens and a sweet bunny (RIP she passed at 12 last year). Plus watered plants and kept house too. Her care is over the top including administering dog medications and shots 3x’s a day for our bunny when she was sick. Everytime we came home all the animals were so at ease and very happy. We all just love her. Excellent care!!!!! Thank you Jenna.

Jenna is terrific! She cares for our pets like they are her own. She shares daily updates and pictures and tells us about their day. We have a cat that requires daily shots and she handles that without any issues. In addition, she keeps up on house items while we are out of town. We’ve used her services for years now and highly recommend!

Let me know if your pets have any allergies or sensitivities, and if there’s any behaviors I should watch for, whether it’s anxiety, high prey drive, dog aggression, or getting into things they shouldn’t be. I have some training skills so if there is anything you are working on with your pet, let me know!
