My schedule varies, but it is generally flexible depending on the timing. I’m an Iowa State graduate living in Boone and work a full-time job. Starting in mid-April, I will be working Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7 AM to 7 PM, so I will be away during those hours on those days. For house sitting and drop-in bookings, there may be an option for me to switch my workdays that week if needed, so please don’t feel like that should stop you from reaching out. I’m always happy to talk through schedules and see if we can make something work for you and your pets. My goal is always to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away!

I always care for pets as if they are my own while also respecting the home and environment I am in. I make sure pets stay on their normal routines as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from the owner. I also like to send updates and photos so owners feel comfortable knowing their pet is doing well while they’re away. My goal is to make it a positive and stress free experience for both pets and their owners!

A typical day with your pet will include lots of pets, treats, playtime and walks! One of my favorite activities to do is go for walks and play outside! This helps me get outside as well! :)

I’ve grown up around animals my whole life. My family always had pets, so caring for them has always been a normal part of my day to day life. In college, my roommate had dogs that I helped take care of as if they were my own. I helped with feeding, walks, and making sure they got plenty of attention. Now I have two cats of my own, so I understand the daily responsibility and love that goes into caring for pets. I treat every animal like they are part of the family and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Jenna was wonderful. She provided such great care to our dogs and cat. We would use her again for drop on visits and overnight stays anytime again in the future!
Jenna was so sweet to our pups! She took such good care of them and sent regular updates so we didn’t miss them quite as much! We will definitely be asking her to watch them again
