Having just returned to Ohio from San Diego my schedule is quite flexible. I take care of my own pets, go to the gym and volunteer remotely for Wildlife Madagascar.

In pet care i prioritize ilove and positive reinforcement. As the wife of a locksmith I'm also very meticulous about safety and security (i.e., I always double check to make sure that leash/harness clips and locks are secure).

It is important to know specific animal preferences for activities, specifics about giving meds, and especially pet dislikes and things/situations that tend to make the pet uncomfortable.
A typical day
This is very specific to the animal. If a pet enjoys playing with toys we will. If the pet enjoys long walks I will oblige. If a pet prefers to cuddle on the couch and watch a movie that can also be prioritized.

I worked at the San Diego Zoo for almost 20 years. My work there included animal care and nutrition. I love all types of dog and cat!
