I have many years of experience with dogs. I have been with a foster home for rescue dogs for the last 9 years. I have successfully fostered 38 dogs, from anywhere from 2 weeks up until 9 months, until they get adopted by an approved home. I foster English Bull Terriers, which can be a very difficult breed, so I can say that I am very experienced with strong breeds and behavioral issues. Because many of the dogs that I foster have been dog aggressive I have a system where the dog will not make contact with my personal dogs. So if your dog is not dog friendly...don't worry they wont come in contact with my dogs. I have a separate dog room in my home with kennels of all sizes and I can close that door or keep a baby gate in the doorway. I have a very secure and private back yard for lots of exercise. I also have a lot of dog training knowledge if your dog needs to learn some new commands! My work schedule requires me to work 6-7 hours a day, so someone will not be in my home 24/7, but I do have video surveillance in my home where I can look to see whats going on at any time! My personal dogs and foster dogs have a many different medical issues that I have dealt with, so don't worry I can make sure your dog gets scheduled medication if they need it. In case of an emergency I could get your dog to emergency care within minutes. Any other concerns I would be able to take your dog to their local veterinarian.

Jenna saved our mini vacay! She quickly accepted our boarding request when we realized our hotel was not pet friendly. She provided expectional care to our Suzie!! She sent amazing videos and photos of Suzie! Jenna is very loving and caring!! Suzie enjoyed her time with Jenna and had her own vacay! Would definitely use her services 10x over!!!

I've known Jenna over 12 years now. She is a huge dog lover with a heart of gold! She is an amazing fur mom to her dogs and even fosters dogs. My dogs love their "Auntie Jenna", and I know when she watches them, they are in the best hands!

Pets

A typical day

I take them on at least one good 30 minute walk per day, possibly twice a day time and weather permitting. Dogs will need to have a reliable/safe collar and leash with ID tags on them in order to be able to go on walks. Plastic snap collars are not the most reliable as the plastic snap can break if a dog pulls too hard. I prefer martingale or buckle collars. I like to provide dogs a peanut butter filled Kong for times that I have to be away and they have to be crated. This keeps them busy and happy in the crate. If you don't want your dog to have peanut butter you can bring their favorite treat for me to put into the crate with them. Playtime out in the yard several times a day! If they are dog friendly they can play with my dog Flex, who LOVES every dog he meets.

Is your dog crate trained? If your dog stays in my home it will need to be crated when I am not home. I provide the crate, I have all sizes of crates small-XL Is your dog flea free? If it is found that your dog has fleas I will charge a $25 bath and flea treatment for them. Does your dog have any behaviors that I need to be aware of? Please notify if there is any food aggression, toy aggression, spots on them that they do not like to be touched.
