If you’re looking for someone extremely experienced and passionate about all things dog (and cat!) look no further! I have lots of experience in sitting, fostering and working in an animal shelter facilitating adoptions of dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. I started fostering when I lived with Laura Bye, the founder of Save our Scruff, now a largely successful rescue in Toronto, Canada, before she even started her rescue. Since then I've fostered lots of pets (cats and dogs mostly!) of all shapes, sizes and behaviours and have helped them become happier and healthier and go to wonderful forever homes. I also have experience working in multiple dog daycares so I can handle single or multiple dogs all at once, administer medication and help with special diets and training. I have most recently worked in animal welfare, care and rehoming at the Ottawa Humane Society in Ottawa, Canada and Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in London, UK. In case that's not enough experience, I also have three small dogs at home who are living their best lives with me and my mom in our big house with a huge backyard. I am so lucky, as this allows me to leave my dogs at home with my mom while I care for your dogs at your house while you're away! I have been a cat and dog sitter for years in Canada and abroad for many of my friend’s and family’s pets as well as clients on Rover who have turned into friends so they all know how obsessed with animals I am! I just want your pet to have as much fun or relaxation they need and to give them all the love and attention they deserve while they are in my care. Jenna was an absolutely wonderful sitter! She stepped in last minute when another sitter unexpectedly canceled while I was out of the country. She was so kind, bonded quickly with my pets, took wonderful care of them and the house, and was communicative and attentive while providing regular updates. Could not recommend more!
I was nervous using Rover for the first time but as soon as I messaged Jenna all of that went away. She was always very kind and quick to respond and I really appreciated her offer to meet in-person for an introductory visit ahead of booking for the first time. My cat is very shy and grumpy with strangers, but Jenna took it all in stride and over a few days my cat warmed up to her enough to sit on the couch with her, an extremely impressive feat! I'm very grateful for the updates and photos Jenna provided over her stay and the house was spotless when we returned. Thank you so much Jenna!!
Jenna helped us out with an overnight stay for our two dogs while we were visiting some friends nearby. She was an absolute delight - communicating with us really well before and throughout the stay. She clearly loves animals and I could tell Willow and Luna were having a wonderful time from all the photos! Jenna also must have kept them well entertained & enriched because they were exhausted when we picked them up, not an easy achievement with these two! Thank you so much Jenna.
Jenna was fantastic house sitting for Roo! Jenna kept us updated with pictures throughout the day and was incredibly accommodating with timings at short notice. Roo absolutely loved her! We would definitely recommend and book Jenna again!
Beyond brilliant. Winnie has made a best friend for life. For the 10 days we were away, Jenna looked after Winnie like she was her own. She also left our flat in perfect condition (possibly even cleaner than we left it!). It was incredibly hot in London while we were away and Jenna made every effort to make sure Winnie stayed safe and cool, adding in lots of extra enrichment to keep her occupied when it was too hot to walk. We were naturally anxious to leave Winnie for such a long time but Jenna’s lovely updates put us at such ease that we felt super relaxed and knew that Winnie was in safe hands. As a result, we could genuinely switch off and enjoy our holiday without any worry. Thank you, Jenna. We will see you soon ☺️

Schedule
I moved to London UK from Canada two years ago and the hardest part was how much I missed my family dogs. I decided to start pet sitting full time in London as well as house/pet sitting and travelling around Europe and I'm now back in Ottawa and available to pet sit full time here! There is no such thing as spending too much time with pets, if they need 24 hour care just let me know and I will accommodate accordingly.
