Country Home Dog Care in Gridley
Hi! I’m Jenna. I work remotely for a nonprofit that supports first responders and military families so I’m around most of the day and your pup will get lots of attention and love! I live on a quiet property surrounded by orchards in Gridley with a big fenced yard that dogs love. My boyfriend is in law enforcement and between the two of us there’s almost always someone home. We have two friendly dogs (yellow lab and queensland heeler) and two kids who love animals and will happily play and give your pup of love. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, happy, and part of the family while you’re away! As a dog mom myself I know how important this is!

Jenna was amazing with our rescue Shepard Kiwi who is fearful of new people and reactive with other dogs. Jenna helped Kiwi acclimate quickly and feel comfortable in her new surroundings. Jenna diligently got Kiwi out everyday for multiple walks and playtime, while avoiding other dogs but still introducing Kiwi to new people and environments where Kiwi could feel safe. We received regular photos, video and updates from Jenna so we felt completely reassured that Kiwi was doing great. Thank you Jenna for taking such great care of our precious pup! We highly recommend Jenna!
Jenna was THE BEST! Her space was large, comfortable, and ideal to our desire for our sensitive Bernese Mountain Dog. Her warmth and enthusiasm put us immediately at ease and we felt we could fully trust our baby bear in her hands, along with many of our helicopter mom special requests. Azore was already in love with her in the first 5 minutes of her company. She sent tons of pix which made us feel so good to remain connected, and she and our boy seemed to have a special bond even from just 1 night stay. Azore seriously did not want to leave! Hope to book again with Jenna in the future, she’s one of our favorite Rovers ever!

Jenna did such an amazing job! She kept me up to date and took Louise with her to the beach, on lots of long walks, and with her to run errands and visit family. I think Louise had as much fun with Jenna as I did on vacation.

Schedule
Your pup will be part of a pretty active and dog friendly household. Between my schedule and my boyfriend who works in law enforcement, someone is usually around the house most of the day. We also have two friendly dogs and two kids who absolutely love animals, so visiting pups get plenty of love and attention.

We live on a quiet property in Gridley surrounded by orchards with a large fully fenced backyard that gives dogs plenty of space to run and explore. I always keep an eye on dogs when they’re outside. As a dog mom myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your pup with someone new. I send lots of photo updates so you can feel confident your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for.

A typical day
A typical day here is pretty relaxed and very dog friendly. Morning usually starts with letting everyone outside, breakfast and a little playtime. Because I’m home during the day, dogs get lots of attention instead of just being kenneled or left alone. Our kids also love playing with the dogs so there’s usually plenty of entertainment.
