Jenna can care for
Availability
I work from home Monday and Tuesday, so I can be available all day to care for your pet. I don’t work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and spend most of my time outside, so your pup can receive plenty of exercise on those days! I am not available until after 5pm Wednesday-Thursday.

About Jenna L.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
While watching animals in your home I will do my best to leave the space as clean or cleaner than I found it. I always try to stick to your pet’s routine as best I can to minimize their stress, and will always communicate if anything is “off” about their behavior.
Information Jenna L. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog does not like children, has any special needs or medications, their typical daily routine (including walk times, potty times, and food schedule), and your dog’s typical affect (anxious, independent, snuggly, etc.) and energy level. I love high energy dogs, I just need to prepare for them! If your dog has a favorite activity, please share that with me so I can make sure they are as comfortable and happy as can be.
A typical day
During drop-in visits I refill water, feed, and clean up any messes your pup may have had. After that, I typically like to take them out for a walk, play with them in the yard, or hangout and snuggle. Whatever they feel like! On Saturdays and Sundays I try to spend as much of my time outside as possible, so it’s more likely that we’ll take a hike on the peaks, in the canyon, or around Elden if your pup is up for it!

Outdoor pal for high energy dogs!
Pet care experience
I’m a dog person who recently lost her 10 year old soulmate dog to cancer. I’m not ready to have my own dog again yet, but I am ready to give my dog-loving energy to your pup(s)! I’ve had dogs my entire life, and have been the primary caregiver for all of our dogs for 20+ years. Most of my experience is personal: walking, feeding, bathing, and giving medication to my own dogs, but I’ve been a sitter on Rover for over 3 years which has introduced me to a lot of pets and their quirks! I am able to give subcutaneous fluids and medications to dogs (and some cats). I have experience with many breeds of dogs, from pitties to shepherds, pugs to collies, schnauzers to cattle dogs. I’m used to mischievous dogs who are too smart for their own good and get bored easily - I know how to keep them entertained! I especially love young dogs! I have no formal dog training, but my sweet 10-year old boy was trained beautifully (by me) to come, sit, stay, lay down, look away (avert his gaze while people around him were eating), downward dog, upward dog, shake, high five, run next to my bike on rides, and walk off-leash on hiking trails without distraction. I’m a gentle teacher and would be happy to work on any of those things with your dog :) I am not able accept boarding requests (in my home). Feel free to reach out about house-sitting or hour-long drop-ins!

Reviews

Jenna did great with my 3 crazy dogs. She visited on schedule and was very communicative. I would absolutely use her again if I needed to.

Jenna is amazing with my fur babies, and I highly recommend her!

Jenna did an amazing job! Would definitely book her again.

Jenna was phenomenal! It’s never easy leaving your pup, but Jenna made me feel very comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands. Upon getting home, Bia was clearly in good care and Jenna went the extra mile to make sure of it.
