I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly can’t imagine life without them. As a lifelong dog lover, I care for every pup as if they were my own. I just moved back home from Nashville, TN. Where I was consistently dog sitting in my apartment for the 4 1/2 years living there. Previously before that, I was doing it in my Hoboken apartment for 3 years. We do have a family dog, a border collie / blue heeler, Luna who is 11 years old. She is used to being around other dogs, as we previously had a husky lab as well before she passed away. Luna tends to keep to herself and only cares about her frisbee. For everyone’s comfort, I typically board dogs that aren’t excessive barkers. I have extensive experience caring for dogs with special needs, including blind, deaf, and diabetic dogs and also senior dogs. I’m comfortable administering medication (including daily insulin injections) and even handling tasks like diaper/band changes. Many of the dogs I’ve cared for have anxiety or don’t do well around other dogs, so I’m very experienced in creating a calm and safe environment for them. A quick note: Rover takes a percentage of my earnings, and my rates are set with that in mind. Also, most people I meet through Rover end up booking with me directly afterward, so my repeat clients listed on the app aren’t an accurate reflection of my true base of returning families.
