Your dog won’t want to come home!
I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly can’t imagine life without them. As a lifelong dog lover, I care for every pup as if they were my own. I just moved back home from Nashville, TN. Where I was consistently dog sitting in my apartment for the 4 1/2 years living there. Previously before that, I was doing it in my Hoboken apartment for 3 years. We do have a family dog, a border collie / blue heeler, Luna who is 11 years old. She is used to being around other dogs, as we previously had a husky lab as well before she passed away. Luna tends to keep to herself and only cares about her frisbee. For everyone’s comfort, I typically board dogs that aren’t excessive barkers. I have extensive experience caring for dogs with special needs, including blind, deaf, and diabetic dogs and also senior dogs. I’m comfortable administering medication (including daily insulin injections) and even handling tasks like diaper/band changes. Many of the dogs I’ve cared for have anxiety or don’t do well around other dogs, so I’m very experienced in creating a calm and safe environment for them. A quick note: Rover takes a percentage of my earnings, and my rates are set with that in mind. Also, most people I meet through Rover end up booking with me directly afterward, so my repeat clients listed on the app aren’t an accurate reflection of my true base of returning families. As I also gain clients from other places as well. I’d be happy to answer any questions you have or provide references from repeat clients, both through Rover and privately. I typically host dogs at my place, where they can feel right at home. Pups are welcome on the bed, and I make sure they have a cozy, comfortable environment to relax in. To help them feel calm and secure, I often play soothing dog-anxiety music, and I also use a puppy camera so I can keep an eye on them at all times. During their stay, they’ll get plenty of love, attention, and cuddles.

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Jenna! From the very beginning, her communication was excellent- she sent daily updates and photos that helped calm my anxious dog-parent nerves. She took the time to really get to know Winnie, asking thoughtful questions about her routines, quirks, and preferences. It was clear Jenna wasn’t just watching our pup; she was genuinely caring for her. Winnie quickly became part of Jenna’s daily life - joining her for walks, snuggles, and all the love you’d hope your dog would get while you’re away. Jenna treated her like family, and it showed in every update and in how happy and relaxed Winnie was when she returned. We’ll absolutely book with Jenna again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and loving dog sitter!!!
I was so anxious to leave Mochi, as this was the first time she’s stayed with anybody other than family, but Jenna was amazing! She updated me with pictures and videos regularly, and it was clear that Mochi felt comfortable and safe under her care. I will absolutely be using Jenna to pet sit again next time that I go out of town!
Jenna was awesome and I cannot recommend her enough! She is very easy to work with and was extremely attentive to my dog Eli. She gave regular updates while I was away and was super accommodating during drop off/pick up. I will definitely be rebooking next time I’m out of town.
I cannot say enough good things about Jenna! Our dog came back happy and loved. Doug can be a bit anxious when we’re gone, but Jenna made him feel completely at home. She went above and beyond with walks, play time, and even keeping up with his specific routine. As an anxious dog mom she helped me with daily updated and photos! It’s rare to find someone so trustworthy, caring, and professional. Will definitely be booking with Jenna again and would recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and loving pet care! Schedule
First thing in the morning, I take pups outside to start the day. If I have work that morning, I make sure they get a nice long walk beforehand. After work and before dinner, we go out for another walk, and then I always do a shorter one right before bedtime. On days I don’t work, I like to take longer mid-morning walks or head to the dog park (with your permission). I love spending time outdoors, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and fresh air—especially on nice days. Of course, if your pup prefers naps and cuddles over constant activity, I’m just as happy to make that part of our day too :)
