Availability
I am currently working as a substitute teacher, which means my availability changes greatly between the summer and the school year. During the summer (mid June to the end of August) it allows me to be VERY flexible with my schedule. Unfortunately, it also means that during the school year my availability decreases significantly to include weekends and the occasional break (as dictated by the school calendar).

When I am hired for a booking, I am fully focused on the care and attention dogs need at all times. This is something I take very seriously and it is my number one priority when I am on your time. Nothing comes before the care of your pet. My own dog was on a special diet and was recently on numerous medications for his kidney issues, so I’m very comfortable with prescriptions, restricted diets, special food, and administering medicines of varying kinds. I also personally love walking and utilize it as my main form of exercise, so no walk is too long or too short! Anything your baby needs, I’m here for. No request is too large or too trivial, I’ll do whatever it takes.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, dietary restrictions, and/or if they are on any medication - really anything that requires specific behavior/attention from me and I will be more than happy to accommodate.
A typical day
I love to give dogs exactly what the want and need, and am flexible with high energy or low energy dogs. I frequently care for my sister’s two young border collies, and was fortunate enough to get almost 16 years with my beloved dog Joseph, so I understand a very wide range of needs from puppy to senior, large breed to toy, and everything in between. I am very comfortable with taking dogs running, on long walks, as well as taking slow paced walks for older/smaller dogs in the comfort of their neighborhood or mine!

I am a lifetime lover and owner of dogs, and have raised numerous puppies from 8 weeks old. I recently lost a 15 year old (adopted at 8 weeks), one eyed Pekingese-Chihuahua who was my best friend and love of my life. Dogs are my absolute favorite animal and my favorite book as a kid was the Encyclopedia of Dogs. All breeds, all ages, all needs. I’m very familiar with prescribed medications, special diets, senior/puppy needs, and will always treat your dog like one of my own. I am the ‘go to’ in my family, with my sisters relying on me for dog sitting their dogs (one has two Border Collies and the other has a miniature Goldendoodle). I love all dogs and can’t get enough of them in my life, so I’d love to help keep your loved ones safe, happy, and showered with care!
