Pet care experience

Future vet student!

I have had dogs all of my life, which eventually led to my first job at a doggy daycare and boarding facility for 2 1/2 years. After going to college, I started working at an animal shelter, where my passion for animal care grew. I moved from Georgia to Tennessee with 2 cats and a diploma and continued to gain more experience working at a veterinary clinic and an animal ER. I have experience with all breeds and all ages of pets and am attending vet school next year. I would love to care for your fur babies!

Drop-In Visits • Jun 29, 2023

Jenna H was the PERFECT dog sitter for our 2 furbabies while we were out of state. Her base location was ideal and she was able to give us multiple visits per day. Dogs loved her and were calm and happy upon our return. I plan to try to get Jenna again for a potential trip in late July. Sweet, thoughtful, common-sense person. Highly recommend!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I am available all days of the week for drop ins, walks, or overnight stays. Whatever works best for you and your pet works best for me!

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

Caring for an animal in the comfort of their own home is my preferred approach. It is easier for the animal to stick to their routine rather than be in a new place without their family.

Pets

A typical day

The activities I choose always depend on the age of the dog I am watching. For younger dogs we may take long walks or go to a park for lots of exercise, while older dogs might prefer a short walk with a brain stimulating treat puzzle afterwards.

An animal’s allergies, any previous injuries, medications taken, and veterinary clinic’s number are the most important things to know before pet sitting. It is also important to ask how a dog may react toward other dogs, children, or strangers.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
