From penguins to pugs!
I am an animal care professional with 25years experience caring for exotic animals in zoos and safari parks. For the past 10 years I have focussed on pet care while living in Tenerife! From dogs and cats to parrots and pigs! I believe in love and attention for our pets in abundance. I am also an advocate for positivity and kindness in pet care ...as I am a positive reinforcement dog trainer. I recently lost my pug to old age . I can´t wait for some cuddles to fill the gap my little boy pug has left in my heart. I am just starting on Rover but I can provide references from previous pet sits I have done, as well as vets AND zoos I have worked for. Our pets are our family. Peace of mind knowing they are being loved and cared for while you are away is my priority.

I absolutely love animals, and their happiness and wellbeing will always come first when they’re in my care. I also understand how strange it can feel leaving your pets — and your home — in someone else’s hands, so I want you to feel completely relaxed while you’re away. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, exercise, medication and all their little individual habits and preferences. I’m very respectful of each animal’s personality and will never force attention — if they want cuddles, yay! ..and if they prefer their own space, that’s absolutely fine too. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own, keep everything secure and tidy, and send you regular updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing everything is being well looked after and spoiled rotten!

Schedule
I currently work online, which gives me plenty of flexibility and means pet care fits really naturally into my day. I’m able to spend lots of time with the animals I’m looking after rather than having to rush off to work for hours at a time. I can easily work around feeding times, playtime, medication or just keeping them company, and because I work from my laptop, I’m very happy having a furry companion nearby while I work!
