My family has had cats since I was 6 years old, and I find something very special about their independent nature and unique personalities. I am Fear-Free certified and worked at a no-kill animal shelter for over 3.5 years on the medical team, focusing primarily on feline care. I am familiar and very comfortable with administering oral and injectable medications, as well as recognizing and handling a variety of personalities. My drive to provide and improve high-quality feline care and medicine has led me to veterinary school, which I will begin in fall 2026! I know that behavior that can be deemed as aggressive is typically due to fear, and use this to lead how I approach interactions with “spicy” cats. I have a cat of my own, Melody, who can be spicy/temperamental, and have a strong relationship built on trust from paying attention to her likes and dislikes and recognizing when an environment is overstimulating. She is truly a total lovebug. Just as I’ve gotten to know my cat and countless cats in the shelter, I will take the time to get to know your kitty and give them the high level of care that they deserve!
