Pet care experience

Professional Pet Sitter 35 Years!!

I've moved to a location in Fort Oglethorpe with easy access to all of Chattanooga and North Georgia. Discounts offered on multi-day and/or multi-pet pet care packages. Please contact me with any questions. PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT BOOK ANY MORE THAN THREE WEEKS IN ADVANCE. I have over 30 years experience with various species of animals, including horses, dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and fish. I offer personalized care to your pets in the setting they feel most comfortable, your home, and tailor my services and rates to your needs. Whether it's a walk while your working or an extended absence, I'm there for your companions!! I'm able offer daily walks, medications, feeding, dog park visits, transportation to doggy daycare, grooming or vet visits, play time, cage cleaning for small companions and birds, specialty diets for exotics, and much, much more. I also work with a variety of reptiles and amphibians, something most pet sitters are not equipped to do. In addition, I'm experienced in the care of horses and other livestock. I am available to care for the needs of your larger pets as well, from feeding to turn-out, brushing to mucking! If you are away for a show, long weekend or vacation, or if an emergency comes up, rest assured that your pets, large and small, are in good hands. I've had my own pet services business since 2015 and I hold a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences. I've been involved in FFA, 4-H and animal rescue throughout my life, as well as interning and working with vets. I've volunteered and fostered for The Boxer Rescue, Inc. (Boston), Atlanta Boxer Rescue and Rockin' P Rescue (Alabama), and have adopted three rescue Boxers of my own.

I had such a great experience with Jenn. She took wonderful care of my puppies and kept me updated with messages and photos throughout the stay, which gave me such peace of mind. When I got home, everything was clean and my dogs were happy and relaxed. It’s clear Jenn cares for the pets she looks after. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Jenn was fantastic with our pup Ginny. Very patient and kind. We got daily updates while we were gone with pictures and some details about how everything was going. We were thankful to know she was in good hands and that we had nothing to worry about on our trip. Thank you again Jenn!

Jenn was great! She was so patient and helpful with Boss and his fear of fireworks on July 4th weekend. Grateful for her care under challenging circumstances ❤️

Jenn was amazing! She was 100% dependable, had excellent communication and provided my pet with all the love and care he needed while we were away. He couldn't have been in better hands. It's clear she has had decades of experience working with animals as she was able to come up with creative ways to motivate and engage my dog that I'd not even considered. Additionally, he's a big, strong dog, and she had no problems handling him on long walks multiple times a day. She kept a close eye on him and made sure he got ample exercise, time outdoors, fresh food and water. I have a tracker that confirmed his activity and overall health and wellbeing. I received honest updates and pictures daily. On top of the excellent pet care, Jenn was also a fantastic house sitter and our home was in excellent condition and cleanliness when we returned. Jenn is amazing if you're lucky enough to get on her schedule!

A typical day

I am happy to play with your dog in the yard and house with whatever toys are available, or take them on a hike or long walk. For dogs on the go, there are so many places to explore in Chattanooga!! I'm always up for checking out new places with a canine companion, so if your pup has a favorite walking spot or dog park I'd love to take them there. There will be plenty of cuddles, hugs and kisses, too!

I always want to know the good, bad and ugly about any animal I work with. We all have our quirks. A medical history is necessary, as well, to avoid any emergencies. I'm really partial to large breeds, especially those maligned by others. I lost my Boxer, Bogey, to cancer in April 2017 and miss him terribly. I'm a Boxer lover, and always will be, but I also love the bully breeds, Rotties, Dobies, mastiffs...basically anything with a big block head! I'm a huge bird and reptile fan, and was formerly a PIJAC (Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council) Certified Avian and Reptile Specialist, so I'm really looking forward to working with more exotics!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
