I currently work a hybrid schedule with Carnegie Mellon and I love having a canine companion to explore the outdoors with! I was raised with a variety of large dog breeds in the home and worked at Beaver County Humane Society throughout college. For drop-in visits in your home, please provide me with specific care instructions and how your animal(s) prefers to be interacted with (lots of love or do they keep to themself, specific feeding requirements, etc.) For stays in my home: I have a large home and yard with plenty of room for play and naps. Smoke-free living space where cuddling on the furniture is encouraged! Potty breaks are usually as often as needed since I'll be home throughout the day on most days (I will provide my schedule during your pet's stay with me). I use a tie in the yard for bathroom breaks and outdoor running since my yard is unfenced, though leashed walked can also be used if your dog prefers that. I have never used a crate for any of my animals, please let me know if your pet is more comfortable with one. I've also owned/cared for horses, birds, snakes, chinchillas, iguanas, goats, pigs, and a variety of other mammals. Frequent updates and pictures will be given to you throughout your companion's stay with me. Currently unable to take any large breed dogs for boarding. My lab/collie mix does well with smaller breeds. My cats interact well with dogs since they have been raised with one. My dog is on Frontline, and I require an active flea and tick prevention method be used for your pet as well.
