True Animal Lovers!!
My wife Diana and I run the Barksville Pet Waggin here in Clarksville. We have been growing our pet/home sitting business steadily for the last 15 years. We moved from Texas 4 years ago. Before that we served as pet sitters in the Austin, TX area for 3 years. Prior to moving to the Austin area, we had numerous clients throughout El Paso and Las Cruces, NM. We have experience caring for animals of all sizes, varieties and ages, administering pet medication including shots, walks, and caring for animals with special needs. We have significant experience with older animals who need special care. We also have experience dealing with larger dog breeds who can be a challenge to care for or walk. We have cared for a wide variety of animals in the past including dogs, cats, birds, lizards, goats, chickens, geese, horses and even an alpaca!! When away we’ll make sure that your fur-children have lots of cuddles and playtime. We enjoy helping fur babies get the exercise they need to stay happy and healthy until mommy or daddy return. We look forward to meeting all the loving pets and pet parents that Clarksville has to offer. We share pet sitting jobs as that way we can have more availability to care for your pets at different times. I am now doing pet care full time as my only job. We are currently offering overnight pet sitting and drop-in visits and/or walks, anytime you need. We do our best to accommodate and match you and your pet's needs. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. We have quite a few regular clients and they would be happy to give you references for us at any time, just ask. Safety, trust & environment
If you would like care in our home we could take small dogs there. We have a fenced yard and one small dog of our own. Diana’s mom is home full time so pups would have supervision all day.

Schedule
I am a full time pet sitting professional. My wife works but helps out and we often share overnight duties. Having two of us does often help with flexibility in scheduling. We also do have a team of background checked and trusted pet sitters who work for us who help fill in the schedule when we can’t. These sitters are trained, insured and supervised by us. You will get the same Barksville Pet Waggin quality from all of our sitters and you will know, meet and approve in advance of who will be in your home if we are unable to do your sitting. You will know BEFORE you book if we are not available. Anyone booking for a holiday period must pay one month in advance and these reservations are non refundable. Half of the reservation amount can be credited towards a future booking. ** If you are booking an overnight pet sitting we do require an actual bed to sleep in. An air mattress in the living room or couch surfing is not going to work for us. If you want older more reliable people you get older bad backs that require a real bed.
