I work mostly online and am able to be flexible with my hours. Rest assured if your dog is high energy, they’ll do great with me! I often drive to nearby trails and if the dog is energetic, go on runs while throwing the ball behind me so they get lots of exercise!

How is your dog with other dogs, children and new people? If they are a puppy, are their shots up to date? How many times do you feed him/her a day?
A typical day
If the dog is old enough and fit enough, I am always keen to go for a run or on dog friendly hikes :) I always take dogs out for a minimum of 3-4 walks a day, unless they are very elderly or unable.

Cat care experience
I’ve had cats all throughout my childhood and was responsible for their care. We had a “cat house” in our yard and at once point had five cats on the property. Since then, I’ve been cat and dog sitting over the last 9 years professionally. I’m a firm believer that cats are just as social as dogs and crave human connection just as much. Since my work is remote, I am home all day with the kitties (and dogs) and can give them ample attention and pets. There won’t be any feeling guilty when you leave your cats in my care cause I’ll be at the space a ton!

Jenalle took great care of our pets and home. She kept us up to date on how our pets were doing, sent lots of photos and kept our minds at ease while we were away. We hope she’s available again in the future.
Jenalle was a great fit for our animals! She stayed in our place for two weeks and gave us lots of updates! Our cat, who is cautious of new people quickly warmed up, and our dog loved all of the outings! We appreciated the constant communication we got during our time away. We also returned to a very clean home! We hope to book some walks and stays in the future!
Jenalle took care of our two duck tollers during our 10-day trip overseas in October 2025. We appreciated her consistent updates about the dogs and her willingness to help out with house-related matters while we were abroad! River and Tilly were healthy and happy on our return; it was wonderful to be able to let them stay in their familiar home environment for this extended time away. Thanks very much, Jenalle!
Jenalle was an amazing dog sitter for our anxious, reactive rescue dog while we were away for a weekend! He’s got a few quirks and relies a lot on his routine and specific steps to be successful. There were no issues managing him on walks and giving his oral meds. She left our home spotless and laundered our sheets for us, too. We are so happy we found Jenalle and highly recommend, especially if you have a pup with unique needs!
