Caring Pet Owner and Foster
I’ve always loved animals and I started studying animal care from a young age. I have had many different pets throughout my life from mice, hamsters, and guinea pigs, to cats and dogs. I have a shelter background with experience as a foster for puppies, kittens, seniors, and sick animals. I’ve also had professional training as far as safe handling, engaging exercise and enrichment, and ensuring all interactions and transitions are as stress free as possible. I’m able to administer medications, including injections, and I am able to take care of general first aid. Last but not least, I will treat your pets just as I would want my own to be treated! I hope you’ll consider me!

Jenae has been an absolute blessing to me and my fur babies. Jenae is trustworthy, responsible, honest, and sincere. She started caring for my two senior dogs three years ago, soon after I had a bad experience here on Rover. I found Jenae through a friend and interviewed her extensively. I had a laundry list of requirements and she met every one, including being able to administer medication if needed, being willing to adapt to their potty and feeding schedules, coming to my home, and being flexible. Jenae has cared for Willow and Patrick up to two weeks and I would not be willing to leave them for so long if it wasn’t for trusting Jenae completely with my fur babies and with my home.

Schedule
I’m currently working full time from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. I am able to take breaks as needed for drop in care and walks. Once I am off work for the day, I am fully available.

I am able to crate as needed. My apartment does have a small dog park which we will frequent. In your home, as well as my own, we will follow whatever routine you have set for your fur baby!
A typical day
We will go on walks around the neighborhood, trails, and parks or the beach depending on the time of year and if weather permits. I like to do a variety of activities to avoid boredom as well as some puzzles and training.
