I foster with 2 different non profit agencies and actually have 3 pups of my own. My own dogs range in size from 13lbs to 100lbs and in age from 3 years to 9 years. All were raised from puppy stage so I have experience with that those, too. DOGS LIKE TO LEARN: I am not a professional trainer but have taken what I’ve learned from putting my own 3 through training and applied to foster and visiting pups. You’re welcome to pick something from the list and I’d be happy to start the training with your dog on these! This includes the following: - walking on a dedicated side when in leash (you pick left or right) - heel - sit - place ( huge on this since it allows dogs to settle their anxiousness) - spin - off - break (release from place) - paw/ shake - kennel - lay down - drop it - wait (helpful for dogs who like to rush out the door before you) - watch me (helps with eye contact and focus) - sit and wait before owner opens kennel YOUR PUP: will be treated as one of my own with any additional instructions you provide.

My home: I have a quarter acre fenced property with a huge covered patio for dogs to enjoy in shade. There are child gates set up within my home to keep dogs in designated areas. This ensures my pups or fosters have access to water stations and dog door for yard access when needed. I have a dog door that accommodates dogs up to 130lbs and 3 water stations set up in my home. We also have dedicated kennels for our larger and smaller pups when needed. My husband cares for our pups when I am doing overnights. I block off time to be with my dogs too. It’s a must ! Your home: house sitting and check-ins include more than just your pups care and I’m happy to offer these: - Check mail / sign for any packages - plant care - lights to leave on - any light household chores (vacuum, dishes, laundry, surface cleaning, poop scoop, trash takeout) - being present for any home maintenance appts while you’re away (to match scheduled stay) - communicating w/ any visitors while you’re away (want me to lie to your nosey neighbors? Need me to tell a regular solicitor some info?)

Jena was absolutely amazing. We have a scaredy pup and a senior and after spending just an hr with her in their intro the scaredy pup was already getting used to her (this usually takes like 3+ hrs with somebody new). He missed her when she left after the two night stay! She did an amazing job and even taught him new tricks lol We instantly felt comfortable with her and had no reservations leaving our house and our pups in her care! She sent a bunch of pics and it was obvious that she was taking amazing care of our furbabies. We would wholeheartedly recommend Jena to anybody and will be using her again when their Mimi isn’t able to watch them!

Fantastic caregiver in every way. Excellent communication complete with pictures, funny stories and videos while we were away. Jena was kind and patient with our pets and we never worried.
Jena provided regular updates and photos, which we really appreciated. She asked many questions during our meet and greet to ensure our dogs were well cared for. She even cleaned the house and left a gift for them.
Jena was an amazing sitter! Hands down one of the best that we have ever had. She took extraordinary care of our 3 pups, as well as our home. She was great with pupdates throughout her stay along with some great pics of our pups. She even celebrated our own pup’s bday for us with the cutest little party! We highly recommend Jena and will 100% continue to book with her!

Schedule
I have a full time work from home job that allows me to be with my dogs as much as I’d like. I work my schedule around my dogs meaning I workout when it’s their exercise time or I run errands during their usual down time. I rarely if ever watch tv because I end up spending so much time with my pups routine and care. I truly enjoy it!

- Please disclose any behavior issues and allergies with me in advance and I will try my best to accommodate for your fur baby. I do not accept aggressive dogs or dogs with destructive behavior in my house as this puts my own pets and property at risk. Examples of this unwanted behavior include: lunging at pets or people, aggressive barking, biting, snapping, biting and gnawing of kennel, and growling , to name the most obvious. Boarding- Prior to your pups stay, please confirm all vaccines are current. House sitting, walking, check-ins - rabies vaccine must be current!
