Seniors to Puppies - Love them all!
I have loved and cared for animals of all kinds since I was five years old. Currently, I am a proud pet parent to three dogs and an indoor/outdoor cat. I am also the go-to pet sitter for my extended family, regularly caring for a wide variety of pets—from my younger brother’s Husky to my older brother’s three cats and Miniature Poodle, as well as my parents’ two senior dogs (including one with special needs who wears a leg brace). My oldest dog, Rizzo, a Chihuahua mix, celebrated her 15th birthday in May 2026 with a full "Quinceañera" alongside our human and fur family! Over the years, caring for Rizzo through various health challenges has made me exceptionally comfortable with special-needs pet care. When she was 9, she underwent successful CCL surgery, followed by a full recovery supported by daily physical therapy. At age 13, she overcame IMHA following her annual vaccinations; after a year of dedicated care, she is now in full remission and thriving. Rizzo shares our home with two loving, playful pup siblings: Mogie (11) and Buddy (5). We also have a sweet rescue cat named Gizmo, who joined our family after a neighbor passed away. Known locally as the "Neighborhood Cat," Gizmo loves fishing on docks, making friends with neighborhood kids, and coming inside each evening for dinner and snuggles. All of my pets are wonderful with children. As a licensed Foster Parent since 2024 specializing in infants and toddlers, I maintain a safe, nurturing home environment. Having recently stepped away from a high-stress career, I am dedicating my time to work I truly love: providing attentive, high-quality care to both children and animals. Safety, loving care, and routine are my top priorities during every drop-in visit and walk. I genuinely adore all animals and treat every pet with individual affection, patience, and warmth. I am happy to adapt to the unique needs of senior or special needs pets, ensuring proper medication administration, gentle mobility support, or a calm environment. I strictly follow your guidelines for feeding, walking routes, and house rules. After every visit, I will secure your home, send a detailed update with photos, and share feedback on how your pet did so we can continuously coordinate and fine-tune future visits.

I've known Jena for years, and she's one of those rare people who cares about animals as much as she cares about people. She's watched Buddy for me more times than I can count, and every time I come home to a happy, relaxed dog who clearly got plenty of walks, cuddles, and attention. She sends updates without being asked, follows instructions to the letter, and notices the little things, like when Buddy was off because he had a muscle cramp and she called to check in rather than just shrugging it off. Beyond pets, Jena is simply a kind, dependable, warm human being. She shows up when she says she will, she's honest, and she treats your home and your animals like they're her own.
Jena has provided wonderful loving care for my pups for the past 8 years. She loves dogs and cats. Jena is a pet parent to 3 dogs and provides a home/vet care to the neighborhood cat. She has a 15-year-old dog with chronic medical issues and is wonderful with senior dogs as well as new pups. She is pet first aid and CPR certified. She cared for my pup after knee surgery and was critical to the recovery process.

Schedule
I am currently on a career sabbatical, which gives me complete flexibility during regular business hours while my foster children are at school or daycare. I am available for drop-ins and pet walks anytime between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Medical Details: Precise medication doses, timing, medical conditions, and allergies. Physical limitations and physical therapy support needs. Feeding & Potty: Meal amounts, exact schedules, dietary restrictions, and walk/litter box routines. Safety & Behavior: Reaction to strangers and other animals, door-darting habits, and leash triggers. Home Access: Entry codes, key locations, and house access rules. Helpful (Great for Extra Comfort) Fears & Triggers: Phobias (thunder, fireworks) and how best to soothe them. Play & Toys: Favorite games, preferred toys, and fun command words. Affection & Habits: Preferred petting spots, sleeping routines, and bedtime habits. Mess Cleanup: Where cleaning supplies and extra waste bags are stored.
