Update 8/1 - fully vaccinated! Hello pet parents! I’m a 43 year old with an MSW degree in social work from the University of CT, currently working in IT. I live in the Hartford area and have my own transportation. I have over 30 years of pet care experience, including dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. I have a great love for and interest in animals. I currently own one weird and adorable cat, and have owned dogs, cats, and cockatiels in the past. I'm very energetic and enjoy exercise, so I'd also be a great choice for high-energy pets that need walking and playing! I have many years of experience administering insulin/subq to cats, and medicine in pill form to dogs. I am also great with pets that may have special needs or have interesting temperaments and personalities. I'm extremely patient and loving, and ready to nurture your pet just as you do, for a day or a month! I consider my specialty with pets to be my empathy in response to what they are feeling and thinking/acting. I truly love making a connection with animals, and really getting to know their individual personalities and traits. I respect my clients’ homes and will care for your home impeccably, and leave it as clean as when I arrived (or cleaner!). I’m happy to do small house chores such as watering plants and bringing in your mail.
