Superior care with lots of love!
*New Rover customers can use promo code JENP40985 for $20 dollars off their first booking with me! Hi, my name is Jen and I’m a local Realtor who truly loves animals. I’m excited to meet you and your fur babies. I believe in giving pets the same unconditional love and attention they give us, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have one little baby of my own, Sophie Grace, an 9 year old Yorkie Poo who weighs about 15 pounds. I also help care for a couple of homeless cats in my neighborhood. Over the years, I have volunteered with a small local organization called Paws 4 Adoption and have fostered many animals while helping them find their forever homes. I have had pets my entire life and have always cared for the animals of neighbors, friends, and family members. I joined Rover after learning firsthand how stressful traditional boarding facilities can be. During a routine vet visit over the Christmas holidays a few years ago, I witnessed an overcrowded boarding situation that left a lasting impression on me. Dogs were crated floor to ceiling, with the smallest dogs placed at the top. It was shocking and concerning, and it made me realize I would never be comfortable placing my own pets in a facility like that. Another concern I discovered when researching boarding facilities was the lack of overnight supervision. Many facilities have no staff onsite from evening until morning, which means pets can be left alone for extended periods of time. While cameras may be available, they cannot provide comfort, respond to emergencies, or ensure safety during storms, fires, or other unexpected situations. For me, true peace of mind comes from knowing my pets are actively cared for at all times. Using a pet sitter may cost a little more than boarding, but I believe it is worth it. Pets are able to stay in a familiar environment, follow their normal routines, and receive individual attention. If a pet becomes anxious during a storm, needs a potty break during the night, or simply misses their family, I am there to comfort and care for them. I have spent many nights sleeping beside a dog bed or bringing a nervous pet into my own bed, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love and patience I give my own. I also have young adults at home who share my passion for animals and are always happy to help provide extra attention and affection when needed. To ensure we are a good fit, I prefer to meet in person prior to a booking whenever possible. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, providing daycare, dog walking, in home care or drop in visits. I also happily care for cats, and there is a dedicated section for feline services on Rover. Please note that holiday rates, additional pets, and puppy pricing are not always calculated accurately by the Rover app and may need to be adjusted and approved manually before a booking is finalized. Pricing is flexible, as every pet has different needs and temperaments, and I am always open to discussing details specific to your pet. My priority is simple. Your dog or cat will be safe, loved, and cared for as if they were my own. That is a promise I take seriously. To me they aren’t just animals, they are family members! I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby soon. Warmly, Jen

Jen was great to work with. She took the time to visit and understand the particulars of taking care of our kitty. I highly recommend her.
Jen really helped me out of a jam. I mistakenly booked a reservation a day later than needed and realized my mistake a few hours before I needed to drop off my pet. Jen agreed to modify my reservation, saving me from delaying my travel plans. My Koby came home with a smile. Your pet will too!

Frida had a great time as usual! Great care! Thank you so much.

Always happy with Jen. Frida loves Jen and her family!

Jen was great with my dog emerald! Emerald has high anxiety and she updated me every single day upon how emerald was doing while I was away!

Programa
I’m a licensed and active Realtor and work from home so, my schedule is flexible. When I do go out I’m usually not out more than a few hours. I try hard to keep your pet on the same schedule it’s used too. This is with feedings, medications, walks etc.

I have a large fenced in backyard. I will never let your dog out in the yard without supervision. I have small babies and I take the risk of predators on the ground and in the air very seriously. I also understand that some dogs like to dig and can easily and quickly dig under the fence. I only care for one or two dogs at a time and I prefer not to mix other family pets unless I know their temperament will work. If I do host another families pet I keep them apart until I know they will work out well together. I have one small dog and won’t introduce my little one with yours unless they’ll be spending enough time together and they get along. I want to ensure your pet/s and mine are as stress free and happy as possible.

Depending on your dog’s normal activity I’ll adjust to ensure they get the same physical and mental stimulation. Whether with walks, throwing a toy or finding snacks in a blanket or toy I’ll make sure they are happy. Taking walks is something we do often, weather permitting. If the weather is rainy, too hot or too cold we’ll manage inside and use the backyard for potty breaks. I prefer not to have dogs crated for any period of time unless that’s what they are accustomed to while they sleep. If I’m caring for a puppy who is still working on potty training, then I’ll use the same schedule they are use too.
