I am available all times of day as this is all I do. I have time for play and walks and spending extra time with them while you are away from home. I do have regular drop ins I do for long time clients during the week, so if you plan to book with me for overnight stays, please know I will be required to leave for up to about 3-4 hours during the day.

My goal is to keep your pet's schedule as close to normal as possible, in your home while you are away to minimize stress as much as possible. Lots of play time and snuggle time (if wanted) for distraction and comfort. I follow all of your (the pet parent's) guidance and advice while visiting with your pets. Safety is a huge priority to me. I will always keep your pet safe and secure in your home, yard or on leash. I never leave them unattended outside, even with a fenced in yard. I'm extremely observant and have a lot of experience, and will notice quickly if your pet seems to not be feeling well and will notify you immediately. I'm able to take pets to the vet for appointments as well as for emergency situations. *Please note also, for safety reasons for all involved, a meet and greet in your home will be required before my first stay or visit. Thank you!

I have no preference on breed, I love all dogs and cats (and rabbits, chickens, reptiles, fish, etc)! Before sitting for a a pet, I'd like to know if they have any special needs, and how they are with meeting people, and what their routine is like. When I sit with a pet, I try to keep to the pet's routine as close as possible, to minimize the stress of being away from their family. *If you have any concern over rates, please contact me. I am able to modify pricing withing reason.
A typical day
Depending on the pet and what they enjoy, I can determine the best way to plan for play/snuggle time. Every animal is different and I always focus on the activities that bring them the most joy...along with a little healthy basic training as well (dogs).

Pet care experience
I've been around dogs and animals as long as I can remember. I spent 5 years as a veterinary assistant and for two years I volunteered almost every day for an animal rescue that works with "hard to adopt" and "difficult" dogs under the advisement of the founder/ behaviorist. I plan on pursuing a career in dog behavior. I've dog sat for the rescue (12-32 dogs at a time for up to 10 days), as well as at a homes with multiple dogs (up to 12 adults plus puppies) and many multi-cat and mixed animal homes. I have rescued cats and kittens and participated in TNR in my neighborhood. I have also fostered litters of kittens. I'm very good with shy and timid cats and dogs. Everything is on their time, and I give them the time they need to adapt to me without fear of being chased or pressured. I have yet to meet a furkid that I haven't been able to win over. I am also very familiar in the care of rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles and rodents, chickens, horses and goats. I believe in force-free handling and training...all positive reinforcement. I myself have 2 dogs, 6 cats and a rabbit. In the past I have also had other small animals, reptiles and snakes, birds, crustaceans, fish and horses. I love and respect all living creatures and will treat your pets like family. I also do maintainance cleaning of homes in the pet areas making sure your home in is the same condition as when you left.
