We are home a lot. We had set up our schedule to provide care for our late dog, Ashby, and it has worked really well for our guest pups.

We love to learn about the routines at home, to ensure a smooth transition from your home to ours, and back to yours. We have three dog savvy cats, and would like to know if your pup is cat friendly. If there are special requests, please communicate that! We very much appreciate all adults to be spayed or neutered, and all dogs to be crate trained.
A typical day
Depending on my calendar, we may head out for an adventure walk to Fremont Older Open Space, Steven's Creek Trail, or Mountain View Shoreline. The walks can last anywhere between 45 minutes to 1.5 hour. We adjust and modify the length and duration of the walks based on the climate, age and ability of our guests.

I am a seasoned Registered Veterinary Technician with my Veterinary Technician Specialty in Emergency and Critical Care. I specialize in post hospitalization nursing care for the recovering animals in my home with a special interest in seniors. I share my home with three dog savvy cats, Dot, Ampersand, Pi, and a 35 pounds youthful German Shepherd mix, Harper. They will aid in the entertainment of your critter. If I were to care for your family member, be confident no medical need is too complicated. I can care for your pup large or small. You can expect plenty of mental and physical exercise and photo updates. In addition to free access to the house and fully fenced yard throughout the day, your pup will enjoy walks around the neighborhood and/or a stroll in the nearby trails. I ensure that they receive the proper attention and supervision. I'm a cat lover who can charm even the most aloof of cats. I'm available for cat sitting in your home or mine. Details can be discussed and customized. Looking forward to meeting you and your four legged family members.

We can't recommend Jen enough! We are new to the area and it's such a relief knowing someone like Jen is here who is patient and kind with our 15 year old dachshund. She is a true professional and clearly cares about the comfort and wellbeing of the dogs she takes care of.
You can tell Jen truly cares for and about the wellbeing of her canine clientele -- she's incredibly patient and understanding with our 15-year-old daschund Oakley as he's getting used to his new surroundings, and we loved the updates she shared during his recent stay. Can't recommend Jen enough!
Buntu had an awesome time with Jen! He made new friends and was overall very calm and comfortable around her. Jen also kept me updated throughout the day; there wasn’t any point where I was worried about my dog. She also seemed to just understand him and his needs to “communicate” :)
