Animals are LOVE!
I've been an animal lover my whole life! It is a passion and pleasure to stay with furry residents of beautiful homes and allow them to feel very loved, safe and happy! I'm a nature lover and trail run/hike daily and know the perfect trails in Marin. I have also been a personal assistant/house manager/property project manager for 20 years. I'm trusted, private, present, calm, and quiet. In addition, I am a healing practitioner (animals included). The majority of my work is remote, so I won't have to leave much, if at all while watching your sweet pet. The doggie pictured in my profile is my sweet Flynn who I had for 14 years since he was 7 weeks old. He passed a couple of years ago, and I still miss him daily.

Jennifer is absolutely the best house sitter we have ever had. Our animals got so much attention, love and exercise. They were tired when we got home which is rare. The house was spotless and she helped us with other household tasks when were away. We will always call her first when we leave town. She went above and beyond anyone we have ever used before. Jen also has such a calm and loving energy, your house is infused with goodness when you return. I highly recommend her.
Jen has been phenominal with our dogs. Shes completely relaxed and pleasant to deal with and our dogs absolutely love her. She stays at our house and is very respectful and clean. The only minor issue is how disappointed our dogs are to see us get home after theyve spent a week with Jen. Highly recommend her! .
Jen came to our rescue when we had an unfortunate turn of events. Our dog had a minor but unplanned surgery the day before we were scheduled to leave town for a 4-day weekend. She nursed our sweet dog in our home, and sent us regular updates and pictures. We had never used Rover, or left our dog with a housesitter, so we were a bit apprehensive to say the least. But she reassured us. Now we can't wait to have her again when our dog is back to 100% and can go jogging with Jen!
Five stars are simply not enjoy for just how wonderful, reliable, trustworthy, clean, thoughtful, and kindhearted Jen really is! We felt from the moment we left that our sweet little boy would be in great hands. Forest loved getting up for early morning runs on the beach or late afternoon hikes in the Headlands, and Jen kept us posted every step of the way! Next time we plan to go away, we know that rest assured Forest will also have the best vacation planned right at home. We would highly recommend Jen, our guardian angel and Forest's new best friend <3
Jen was a wonderful pet-sitter. She made a point of coming to meet us first to understand how the house works and meet our dog and cat. On the first day, she arrived right on time and we were able to leave with a good feeling. She sent us photos and short video updates all through the week. The house was clean, and our pets well taken care of. And she is a lovely person. We highly recommend her.
Jen Legge has always been an avid animal lover. She is kind, compassionate, fun, patient, trustworthy, and dependable! She takes care of dogs with a generous heart and a loving spirit. She is also drawn to the outdoors; running, hiking, and loves the beach, which makes the dog-sitting experience all the better! I got to watch how she cared for her own dog years ago and I know any dog would be lucky to have Jen be their sitter!! She wants all dogs to be happy and comfortable with her so she will take extra time and patience to build trust with dogs who have had some issues with this area. Jen will take care of your dog like they are her own, with lots of love.

Schedule
I mostly work remotely, so I can take my work to your home. This leaves plenty of time for hikes/runs/walks (or whatever favorite activity your pet has).
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
Coming to your home allows me to help your pets feel completely comfortable, maintaining their normal routine. I am able to work remotely, so will rarely need to leave them, if at all :). I do prefer to be close enough to my place in case I need to drop by. Therefore, I'm available in Sausalito, Mill Valley, Tiburon, Belvedere, and Muir Beach.
A typical day
I love nature and I love exercise. I run/hike daily on beautiful trails in Marin (with or without doggie friends :). It's so much fun to have them along!
