Pet care experience
I have had dogs all my life including, spaniels, terriers and currently poos. My current sons/ sorry dogs, Bruce and Alf run the household and have complete free reign to go where they please and your dog would be treated the same unless you tell me otherwise. I have experience of young bouncy pups, golden oldies (inc medication administration) and rescues. I use Rover myself and find it fantastic in terms of finding doggie care that gives me the comfort I need that my dogs will be looked after as if I was looking after them myself and that’s what I offer.

This was a trial ahead of a longer booking next month. Jemma is brilliant, incredibly relaxed and Bosun clearly enjoyed his stay. Regular updates and photos was reassuring and Bosun is already keen to spend a longer time with Jemma and her two pups. Highly recommended
Jemma is the only person I will leave my little dog, Teddy, with. Teddy is a disabled chihuahua with mobility issues and needs a lot of care. He has medication administered and has little accidents in the house now due to his conditions. He also can’t even get over a patio door ledge due to his size so has to be carried in and out - Hard work! Jemma is completely unfazed with the amount of work involved to look after Teddy and could not be more attentive. Teddy, despite being about 1/6 of the size of her dogs, absolutely loves them and they couldn’t be more gentle and caring around him. In fact, he bosses them around! Jemma will send me photos updating me on what Teddy has been getting up to (mostly cuddled up on the sofa with her due to his issues) and handles the odd hand feeding (needed to get his medication in him) with ease. Jemma had a lovely old Yorkie who passed recently so is very used to fussy eaters/old men stuck in their ways. 100% recommend - although I hope she won’t get snapped up by all you rover users so Teddy can still come for his stays!!
Me and my Dog Amy have known Jem for a couple of years and is one of the only people I trust to look after Amy. Gem has two lovely, quirky dogs full of sweet personality that any dog who stays will enjoy the company of. Jem, herself, it's fair today is dog mad..all dogs she loves them all - and has a natural affinity with them. Rover is a perfect place for Jem, and Jem is a perfect fit for Rover. If you are looking for someone caring and affectionate who understands how to treat your dog, you will be hard pressed to find anyone better than Jem and her doggos!
Jemma has looked after my dog on a number of occasions and he has always enjoyed his stay with her. It is a home from home for him. She keeps me updated on his stay and takes him in lots of lovely walks. Jemma’s two dogs Bruce and Alfie are lovely well natured dogs that get on with my dog and others. I highly recommend Jemma if you need a dog sitter.

Let me know any of your dogs needs ahead of time, including medication, dietary requirements etc. I am confident with most things. We can arrange a meet and greet to make sure your dog feels comfortable around me and my boys, preferably at my house so you can scope out where they will be staying.
A typical day
We enjoy daily walks through parks and local woodland and on the weekend we often go to the beach. My home is now a giant toy box with an assortment of balls and cuddly toys to keep everyone entertained. I have a decent sized garden and so Bruce (my yorkie poo) is very vocal that there are ball breaks factored into the day usually hourly. Your dog can choose to partake or can be more of a spectator like Alfie (my poodle). The choice is theirs.

Availability
I primarily work from home and my availability will only show days I am home with my dogs. I always block out 1-2 hours a day for walks. I never leave my dogs alone for more than 2 hours.
