I am working part-time while I take studio art classes at GCC to satisfy the prerequisites for an Art Therapy Masters Degree. Pet care gives me opportunities for connection and play that ground me in my experience.

I've taken care of a variety of animals since I was very young. I've personally owned rabbits, rats, cats, and dogs. I love caring for chickens and horses as well! Every species and individual has their own methods of communication and I pride myself in learning their language. I am comfortable walking, playing, bathing, and grooming pets, and I enjoy creating foraging toys and social games to keep their minds and bodies active.

We have had Jem pet sit for us before. Upon our return our pets are always happy and healthy and our house is just as we left it. Recommend!
Jem is great! She house sat for us for two weeks while we were out of the country and cared for our cats, senior dog and elderly horse. She was in regular contact with us, with updates and pictures of our pets the whole time we were gone. Everyone was healthy and happy and our house was spotless when we returned. We would highly recommend Jem!
