As much as I dislike leaving a negative review, I feel it’s necessary to share my experience. I hired Jelanie to walk Maple for a couple of weeks at a specific time, as she’s on a routine and we wanted her to stay comfortable after being adopted two months ago. Things started off well, but over time, communication and punctuality declined noticeably. I was hoping to find someone reliable long-term someone I wouldn’t need to constantly check in on. Unfortunately, Jelanie didn’t meet that expectation. Some walks were cut short to just 20 minutes, and on other occasions, the walk was not even ended on time and the Rover card showed 1-1.5 hr of walk time. While I understand he’s juggling school and extracurriculars, the inconsistencies continued until he eventually failed to inform me he would not be able to come on the last day due to his exams until I asked him. This left us scrambling and we had to ask my partner’s parents who have no experience with pets to walk Maple. That was especially disappointing and left a lasting negative impression. Me and my partner both weren’t home and would never be able to make it on time to walk Maple if not for my partners parents.

It’s been two days since Jelanie is walking my dog and I see a real difference in her leash walking skill. She isn’t pulling much and it’s a huge improvement. Thank you so much Jelanie!

Jelanie was amazing to our babies! They clearly loved him so much at the end of their stay and he felt the same. We got frequent updates and great communication from him. We will be using him again for any and all dog sitting needs because of his rare blend of professionalism and genuine passion for animals. Book him and you won't regret it!

Jelanie’s main focus is the dog he is caring for! He loves to sit around and cuddle with dogs, take them on walks and play with them and their toys!
