From my experience growing up on a farm to caring for two dogs and a cat as a young professional, I've developed quite a bit of pet care knowledge and skills. I've cared for puppies and kittens and adult dogs and cat through good times and hard times. Over the years, I've learned a lot and I'm happy to use that experience to care for your's as well.

Jeffrey and Jessica were very communicative during our cat Rudy’s 12 day stay with them. They sent great pictures and updates of how he was getting settled in. Rudy came home very content!
Jeffry and Jessica were great sitters of nala! Very responsive and provided great updates on nala which I appreciated. She seemed to warm up to them easily and would def use again!
My dog had a great time staying with Jeffrey and Jessica! Jeffrey was very quick and responsive to all communication, and he took the best pictures! He adapted to my dog’s needs as they developed during her stay. I can tell Jeffrey has a love and respect for animals, which I find very valuable when choosing a dog sitter. I will definitely book with Jeffrey and Jessica again!
Jeff is like Snow White—animals love him and gravitate to him. He has been a pet owner his whole life, has had both dog and cats, and he shows kindness to all creatures.

Schedule
My wife and I both work from home during the week so we have plenty of time for pet care. When our dog Frank was around, we would often go on walks with him and my daughter and visit local parks. Unfortunately, we don't have time to care for puppies or kittens at this stage in life but adult dogs and cats are welcome.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in downtown Columbus in a single family home with a large fenced yard. We're surrounded by lots of sidewalks and live within walking distance to several parks. In our home, we have a large soft crate for dogs and small crates for cats, if needed. We expect all pets to be potty/house trained and dogs to sleep in a crate overnight. We don't allow dogs on furniture or in beds, but they're welcome throughout the home. Our cat, Cleo, roams the house but will often stay on the 2nd floor when new pet friends stay over. She has been great with new cats and dogs, often warming up to them after a day or two. We also have a 2.5 year old daughter who is home most of the week. She's great with cats and dogs and we expect any pets that stay with us to be comfortable with children.
Pets
A typical day
We love playing in the yard with balls or tug ropes throughout the day or lounging with a kong or other treat puzzles. Cleo loves to chase and play with other cats and dogs in halls or over/under chairs. We go for walks around the neighborhood and play in the park playgrounds throughout the week.

- Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any special needs. For example, my old dog, Frank, was scared of trash trucks and fireworks. He would find the nearest table or chair to dive under or back to crawl behind if he heard one. So we would try to anticipate both and distract or comfort him if he heard them.
