Dog’s Best Friend
To say that I like dogs is an understatement. I’ve owned dogs my entire life, that’s a lot of years and a lot of dogs! Additionally, I was trained as a Level 2 Volunteer in a no-kill shelter in Chicago, providing care in both the adoption center and medical center. I also owned and operated a dog daycare and boarding facility in Michigan, prior to relocating to Key West. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and dispositions. Rest assured, I’m here to help! Please note: I can accommodate boarding females at my home, but not adult male dogs.

Jeff took very good care of our small dog, Lola. He communicated with us throughout her stay with him. He sent photos of her as well every couple of days. I felt comfortable leaving her with him, knowing she was in good hands. We had flight issues on the way home, and Jeff was very accommodating with picking up Lola a few hours later than anticipated. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a dog sitter. We will use him again in the future.
It was our first time leaving our puppy with someone and Jeff was extremely kind and understanding. He sent update pictures praising our girl and showing us she was having a blast! He introduced her to his dogs one by one and was very responsible about her being smaller. He made her feel right at home! We recommend him 100%

This was our first time using Rover and we chose to do it over 1500 miles away from home! Jeff was the perfect host. Molly was welcomed into the pack by his 4 dogs and loved her stay, especially the pool time. The pictures and texts throughout the week reassured us that we made the right decision entrusting Jeff with Molly. We hope to do it again in the future.
Jeff is truly caring, thorough and knowledgeable. He was flexible with our dates changing a little and he offered for her to spend a few hours over there as a warm up before our trip started. I highly recommend him!
We were so happy to find Jeff through Rover! We are on vacation with our pups but we can’t take them everywhere. Jeff’s drop-in visit gave us peace of mind while we had a day out with friends. His flexible schedule worked great for us. And our dogs love him!

I do have a fairly a flexible schedule and would love to fill my spare time by continuing my passion of taking care of dogs.

I follow your instructions and follow the dog’s lead. I won’t put a dog in a situation they’re not comfortable with, taking whatever time is necessary to build a trusting relationship with your pup.

A typical day
I will follow your dogs’ lead, providing the level of fun they are up for. If they want to play with their favorite toy, we will do that. If they just want to chill and get TLC during my visit, they’ll get that. And lots of it.
