- Minimum 7 night booking preferred (we do accommodate shorter sits that fit into our schedule, but we never accept day sits) My wife and I are non-smoking dog lovers (and past long-time homeowners) with 12 years of experience in extended stay housesitting and petsitting. We began caring for vacationing homeowners' pets and homes, because it combines our love of animals and our delight in experiencing new locales. We believe it significantly reduces your pets' stress when they are in their own home environment while you're away. We strive to learn as much as possible about your pets' unique likes, routines and behavior, so they can become comfortable with the new "guardian" before you leave. We understand your pets need love, companionship and as much consistency as possible -- we are also are very careful to maintain your home as if it were our own, as a "placeholder" while you're away, we strive to maintain as light a "footprint" as possible. We're also just fine doing the little tasks that keep your home functioning while you're away, such as bringing in the mail, taking care of houseplants, etc. Having cared for a number of luxury homes, We're also very comfortable with keypad and electronic security systems. We've dealt with so many different breeds -- border collie, sheep dog, pomeranian, terriers, standard poodle, retrievers, even pit bulls and bull dogs -- Iwehave really grown to appreciate all the special qualities they offer. Why we love dog sitting Our most extensive period with dogs began when our neighbor brought home her 2 month old border collie. As she and her husband traveled often, Iwe had the little collie with us extensively during her puppy and young adult years, and have a very special relationship with her and her family. Since beginning our house and pet care, we have had the opportunity to spend extended periods of time with any number of breeds, including Havanese, sheep dog, standard poodle, retrievers, Pomeranian, cockapoos, spaniels, cairn and West Highland terriers, even pit bulls and bull dogs! My experience administering medication I have administered oral medication frequently (in food). We are full time house/pet sitters. We do some light, online work so we can devote our full time attention to an owner's pets and their needs. Because we only sit it the pet owner's home, the safety and environment is the same as the pet(s) are accustomed to. We are very good listeners and make sure we understand any cautions and risks in the pets' home environment.

We do not offer boarding in our home, we exclusively care for pets in the owner's home. We feel this provides additional security and stability for the pets we care for.

I was very very happy w the care provided. My dog was so well cared for, loved and given good walks while I was gone. Jeff was conscientious about following the instructions I had laid out for him. Very good experience for my dog and no worries/concerns for me when I was away. Also communication and picture were sent daily.
We recently had the good fortune to have Jeff and Linda house sit for us. We have not had an extended vacation in several years because of the difficulty in finding someone to sit with our elderly miniature poodle. He can’t be left alone at home because he has anxiety issues, and he is hearing- and sight-impaired and needs medication for his heart and other ailments. It’s a lot to contend with. But from the first meeting, Jeff and Linda showed remarkable insight and compassion. Our little poodle was completely smitten. Jeff and Linda were very professional, capable and thorough when it came to preparing for and carrying out the job. They made us feel confident that our pets (we also have a feisty younger cat) were in good hands. Once we left, they kept in touch with daily reports and charming photos. We returned to a house that was neater than we left it and very contented little ones. We highly recommend Jeff and Linda. Our vacation was so much more relaxing knowing that our pets were so well cared for.
Jeff and Linda were absolutely amazing with our 2 dogs. We were away 9 days, came home with 2 tired out dogs and an immaculate home. Very responsive and sent daily updates on both dogs and how the day was going. Would definitely book again!
Jeff and Linda are just amazing sitters. Very responsive, so caring for our puppy and made us care-free on our first trip away from our pup. Our furry baby is a 14-week puppy full of energy who needs almost constant attention - Jeff and Linda were amazing and our pup loved them. They also left the house immaculate and in perfect condition. Will absolutely book them again on our next trip away. Highly recommend.
Jeff and Linda were such a good fit for our pets especially our senior cat. Their care and compassion goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future.
Jeff and Linda are extremely caring, detailed and thorough. They are true professionals in every sense of the word. My dogs were taking care of with such love and attention and our house was immaculate when we returned. Jeff spent nearly all of his time at the house with my pups. He took care to learn their routines and also kept up with our very complicated senior dog medical care. It's not easy balancing life with a young Golden Retriever and an aging, loving, finicky Cavalier. But Jeff did it! Very grateful!

Schedule
My wife and I house and pet sit full time, with a few internet based interests. We are generally "home-bodes," and will usually be around for your pets.

- I have found each breed has unique qualities to appreciate! What's most important to me is consistency -- where does the dog sleep? What is the dog's exercise and play routines? Is the dog allowed "good for them" people food? Are treats associated with learning games permitted or encouraged? I like to know as much as possible about the dog's comfort zone, to keep the transitions smooth!
