I raised Captain, a large Treeing Walker Coonhound until he passed in 2023. There are currently no dogs in the home. I live in a single family home with a large fully fenced in yard.

Thank you Jeff for taking such great care of Luna! She had a wonderful stay and came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. We know she received plenty of attention, affection, and special care throughout her stay. Luna bonded with Jeff right away, he was patient, attentive, and experienced, especially with large dogs, like Luna, who need extra attention and handling. We felt confident knowing Luna was in such capable hands. We would highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking for someone who truly cares for big dogs with lots of energy and attention needs.

Jeff was a wonderful host to our senior dog! Our dog needs to be let out more frequently and has supplements, and we felt very comfortable with Jeff taking care of our dog. Our dog was very happy and we would definitely have Jeff watch our dog again!
We have used Jeff twice now. He was very quick to communicate back whenever I had a question and was very sweet with our skittish dog. Jeff is home often, which made our older doggie feel safe. The second time we used Jeff and were dropping him off, our dog ran right into his house: so excited!! It was a blessing knowing Jeff was taking care of our dog so that we could enjoy our trips.

My work hours vary but I am rarely out of the house longer than 3-4 hours. Weekends I am home full time. Weather permitting they will be taken on at least one long walk per day.

Dogs have full run of the house and are allowed on furniture. Dogs can run in the fenced in yard but are always supervised when doing so.
A typical day
There are many dog toys available here. I am home most of the day and available to play with the dogs frequently and enjoy taking them for walks around the neighborhood.
