Currently I'm studying for a new career, so online real estate school allows for me to be available mostly all of the time. I can study when house-sitting with your Fur Family member and it also allows for me to stop in for feedings or walks as well.

I've been sitting for a long time for friends and family. I literally have keys to many friends homes, to make it possible to not have to meet prior to their departure. I sit for these friends so often they have told me to keep a key. I am on top of feeding times and restroom breaks, or even walks but I also build friendships with these fur-babies. Watching TV or sitting in the backyard...I pay and love on these amazing pups and cats. I connect with animals very well and quickly, they become a part of my family to some extent, I look forward to sitting for my friends and getting the opportunity to spend time with their family member/s (their cats or dogs). I look forward to caring for your pet as well!!

Writing out special feeding needs and a general feeding schedule that you desire is a huge help to keep your loved one on a regular schedule and not skip a best just because you're out of town. Knowing their behavioral traits around other dog, cat, or humans on walks will benefit me as well...as to avoid situations that caused stress or aggression makes for a overall happy walking experience. Honestly, I appreciate you writing out preferences and needs, that way I can not only remember but adhere to yourw requests and needs for your Fur Baby.
A typical day
I can and will do things you prefer to be done loved one, spelling that out for me in advance is highly appreciated. With that said, activities as little as sitting on the couch and watching TV with them and giving them snuggles, I've found both dogs and cats love squirrels on YouTube, and all the way up to taking them with me on my hikes up in Quicksilver Park (I hike 10 miles M, W, and F in preparation for the Rim to Rim in the Grand Canyon) or long walks to get that energy out of their system. I can and will play with them, play fetch, and most anything you prefer.

Pet care experience
I've been taking care of friends cats and dogs for years. Working remotely provides me the ability to house sit and spend quality time to care for my friends and families animals and Rover just seems like a natural fit to help others allow for their pets to stay in their natural environment (their home) when their human's are out of town. Not only will I feed your Fur Family members, I'll play with them and bond with them. I look forward to meeting your dogs and cats...and you as well. P.S. I have a special place in my heart for the elderly Fur Babies and have the patience required to care for them as well.

Jed is a dynamo and a really great person. I can tell because both Luci and Blue Berry love being around him. I have no concerns about the dogs or the home when I'm away as I know they're all in good hands. I'm so glad to have found him on Rover. Thank you Jed and Rover.
Jed looked after our Golden Retriever, Miles for a few days over Christmas and was absolutely wonderful. He house sat for us while taking care of Miles and also took great care of the house. He walked Miles daily, brushed him, sent lots of pictures, even did some yard work and communication was very good. Thank you Jed! Miles told me he’d like Jed to come take care of him again sometime.
Jed is extremely caring, dependable and responsible. He is energetic, my Weimaraner, Gucci loved hiking with him. Jed has an amazing attention to detail and followed all my requests and safety concerns perfectly, we were able to relax and enjoy our time away because we knew our baby was in great care. Jed also is very neat and respectful of our home, and was very communicative which we appreciate. He takes dog sitting seriously and he is the only person we have ever left our dog with overnight. I highly recommend Jed, he is a true professional and we feel extremely lucky to have found him. We have already booked him again for our upcoming trip; we can rest easy knowing our fur baby will be safe and happy!
Jed was an ideal house sitter and dog watcher, and excellent communicator. He set us at ease when he came for the meet and greet, asked great questions about the home and dogs, and set solid expectations, which he ultimately exceeded! He kept us up to date with pics of our dogs, collected our mail, left the house spotless, did some extra cleaning for us, and of course took dogs for walks and spent lots of time with them. Everyone was thrilled, thanks Jed.
