Hi! I grew up in a family of animal lovers and have grown up with dogs since I was a child. With helping to care for them as I got older with feedings, walks, playtime and baths. Since then, I have adopted a kitty of my own and we’ve been together for 11 years now. He is very much my little baby for me and I approach all fur babies in the same regard as mine with love, care and affection. In parts of my professional career I was a nanny and some of those responsibilities included caring for their pets as well. Along with the traditional responsibilities of pet care, I also administered medication, ensured specific dietary needs, access to fresh water always, veterinary appointments and ensuring post surgery care. In addition, I am the first person my neighbors and friends reach out to to care for their dogs and/ or cats when they are away on vacation. As I am always consistent, reliable, compassionate and full of affection for the fur babies. I am also mindful of any behavioral boundaries your fur baby may need as well. While I can only house small breeds with dogs and cats in my own home, I am comfortable with caring for every breed and have experience with larger dogs, multiples and elderly dogs. I am also happy to provide picture and video updates for additional peace of mind while I care for your fur baby. I would love to have the opportunity to help provide care for your fur baby when the time comes :)

I would not hire again!! If you want someone who actually interacts and plays with your dogs, then she is not the dig sitter for you! Jacenia took care of our 3 dogs (two senior and one 3 month puppy) for 5 days. She committed to working 9am-10pm but showed up an hour to hour and a half late every morning. She complained about our puppy being too mouthy when she had him in a crate most of the day and when he was out it was for max a half hour. She didn't engage with him at all. She would take him outside in our back yard sitting on the cement on her phone and then complained about how he didn't do anything but lay down outside. He wasn't able to really release any of his puppy energy. She only took them out around 10pm one day and I had to hire someone else to come around 930-10pm because she wasn't coming to take care of them. I also had the person taking care of our other animals take the dogs out too because I was never sure when she was going to be at the house to take them out. Neither of the other sitters had any issues with the puppy like she said she did! I paid extra for her to be at the house until 10pm on the last day and she was at the house from 1030am-2pm and never came back. She said it was because she thought we were coming back that night so she didn't think it would matter if she came back. She only sent me one picture of my dog's back sand took no initiative when faced with challenges. She never reached out to me with any questions and when I talked with her about how I was disappointed in the care of our dogs, she blamed the miscommunication all on me. I was so anxious about the care of my dogs my entire vacation and I should have cut ties with her day one and found someone else to take care of them.

Schedule
I am a full time artist and set my own hours while I work from home. Which means I have a very flexible schedule and I can ensure to stick to a schedule that best suits your fur babies needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have one kitty at home who is now 13 years old. He mainly likes to cuddle, sunbathe and nap. He gets along well with other animals. If needed, he can remain separate from your pet with a doggy gate. Your fur baby is allowed access to all areas of my 2 bed apartment and allowed on my furniture unless separation is needed. Which at that point, Larrel would stay in my room while your fur baby can roam freely in the rest of the apartment. There is a large fence less side yard at my apartment building and I am also across the street from city park which makes for great walks and playtime.
Pets
A typical day
Quality time is a love language for sure. I love going on daily walks with your doggies and taking them out for playtime with tennis balls and playing tug o war with them. Belly rubs and head scratches are in abundance over here!
