I am home but do run out to the grocery store and never gone more than 2 hours if that. I have crates for dogs that should not be left loose in the house unattended both for their own safety and my house.

I have a fenced in yard and rely on that for the dogs to get exercise. I live on a somewhat busy country road with no sidewalks. depending on the season I can walk dogs on my own property on a leash only however it is safer for all of us to keep them in the pen. I can throw the ball and there are usually enough dogs to play together.

I love all dogs but prefer to take care of dogs who are socialized with other dogs, breeds and breed mixes known to be social animals, and am now limiting the size to 60lbs. I once had a dog who understood french and liked to be spoken to in french. I prefer not to have the more aggressive breeds, I don't feel I am experienced enough for those dogs.

Here's where we'll take our walks I walk the neighborhood, on occaision, but there are no sidewalks on our country road so rely mostly on the outdoor fenced area for dogs to get exercised. again, safety first, and many dogs do not walk well on a leash, so best to just let them play together in the pen. Your dog's sleeping arrangement While many of my client dogs sleep with their owners, I do not have dogs sleeping in the bedroom. my own dog does not, she has a bed in the living room and that is where she sleeps. I have an extra large crate that I will use if a dog does not come with his own crate, but I prefer the dogs to sleep on their own beds or crates. many of my dogs come with their crates which they love. If there could be a problem with multiple dogs I will put at least one of the dogs in a crate when I am gone. Time I'll spend with your dog I am home every day, I do not work, but I do go out and run errands and could be gone an hour or two, on occaision, maybe three, but I do not leave dogs home alone for long periods of time. depending on the season and the dog, I might take the dog with me if it is not too hot or cold and I am runing errands locally. If for some reason I were going a distance on a holiday and had a client dog I would just take the dog with me.

I have always loved animals, dogs, cats, horses especially and have experience with taking care of them. my priority is safety first and exercise the dogs with play amongst themselves in a fenced in enclosure. I will crate a dog occasionally if necessary and allow dogs who like their crate to use them. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover, animal lover since I was a little girl, I begged my parents for a dog, a horse, a cat. I really did not get my first dog until I was an adult, and that was a black lab. since then I have had a yellow lab, then 2 yellow labs and now I have a Cocker/Cavalier cross. Along with Kinsey, I have an aged horse and goose in my barn, and a middle aged cat. I started dogsitting friends dogs many years ago and gradually expanded that experience with River. Meet my pets I have a barn with 2 horses and 2 geese on a separate piece of property far enough away that the dogs do not interact with them. Mare Star is 34 years old and counting and mare Etta is 20, I do ride her in the riding ring and on my property, and I am not gone more than 2 hours when I do ride. I have had horses for many years and cared for them for over 25 years. the geese are pets, and follow the horses schedule. About my yard I own 16 acres of land in all, and I do occaisionally walk dogs in the fields but mostly they run in the enclosed areas, either at the house, a 40x60 area off one of the doors, and at the barn, a 60x120 former riding ring closed in for dogs. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering pills but I am not comfortable at all with shots. I am home most of the time, I may go shopping for a few hours when necessary, appointments, etc, but I do not work outside my home. rarely am I away from the house more than 2 hours. I have a large fenced in yard off the kitchen, I can keep an eye on the dogs even if I am not outside with them. my priority is safety first above anything else. I do try to take dogs that get along with others, and avoid breeds that are known to be more solitary in nature.

My dog Ellie loves it!
Jeanne was very good to our Copper. We are not used to leaving him a lot especially with several dogs but Jeanne is a professional and knows what she is doing. She made me feel comfortable leaving our boy. She sent me a picture later in the day and let me know he was doing well.
