Information Jeanne R. would like to know about your pet
Do they know the basics: sit, stay, come, off, no and leave it, etc..? Do they react to thunder, fireworks, sirens, etc... Do they need to be kenneled when I leave the house or at night? Are they allowed up on furniture and beds? Are they food "protective?" Are they on a strict eating schedule? Do they have food allergies and/or sensitivities? Since I worked for a healthy raw dog food company, are they allowed to try new foods? Do they chew on their feet or skin? Do they need to go out in the middle of the night? Have they used a doggie door? Are they good on a leash? Pulling, -- ya know act like sled dog? Do they chew on "stuff?" Do they have separation anxiety? Do they like the car? Do they dig? Are they escape artists? Are they big time barkers?
A typical day
I don't really have a style other than to create a well-mannered environment -- I believe in praise for a job well done and not punishment for being a dog -- especially if they have not been trained to know the difference. We like to follow simple/basic rules like sit, stay, come, off, no and leave it. Dogs are pack animals and have a tendency to follow-the-leader. Since I tend to watch well trained dogs that listen, if your dog is a bit naughty when you drop them off you may find yourself picking up a well-behaved dog. Hey, it's been known to happen. ;-)

Dog Fun and love!
Pet care experience
When I am away I treasure the peace-of-mind that comes from knowing my dog Jackson is safe, well cared for, happy and yup, loved. I am sure you are looking for the same. I know your dog is a cherished member of your family. I also know he or she needs that special one-on- one attention along with lots of exercise. Oh, did I mention the frequent tummy rubs? Starting with my family’s Wire Hair Terrier, Chappie, I have always loved dogs. Now, when my friends and neighbors are away, I not only take in their mail and paper I take in their dogs; making me the designated doggie-day (and sleepover) camp. Actually this is how I got the name Aunt Jeanne…”All the dogs love to go to Aunt Jeanne’s House.” I am truly the happiest when my home and is filled with fuzzy-faces having fun. I share this home and life with a sweet small terrier mix (rescue) named Jackson. Everything single day he does something silly that just cracks me up. We live in dog-friendly, safe neighborhood in Black Diamond. We are near Maple Valley and Covington. I have a small yard which is completely fenced, access to a large fenced dog park and lots of gorgeous tree lined trails. These options offers plenty of exercise. Part of my home is an artist studio; I am a pet portrait artist. I am retired; Nutritional Consultant for the number one local raw pet food company: Darwin’s Natural Pet Products. I am associated with Wolf Haven, Chimp Sanctuary and Rebecca's Old Dog Haven. I believe in keeping things stress-free and sane. Currently there is never more than 2 dogs at a time here (along with my Jax) to ensure that everyone gets my attention and the cuddling they deserve. My mission is to give your dog a safe and fun experience while giving you the peace-of-mind you need to enjoy your time away. If this sounds like a good fit. Let’s set up a meet and greet. NOTE: All prices reflect a 24 hour period. They are subject to change depending on drop off and pick up times. Any changes will be flexible and, of course, mutually agreed upon before any payments are made through Rover. Please note that even though a date may be blocked out on my calendar or indicate that I am full, nothing is etched in cement. Depending on circumstances, we might be able to work out something - especially if it's an emergency. Thanks, Jeanne
Reviews
Jeanne R. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.

Jeanne was very accommodating to our schedule!
A sure sign of a caring home environment is when my dog is excited to see Jeanne again. Thank you for a warm & friendly place for Luna :)

We appreciate Jeanne so much--she took such good care of Brizzie. We had travel complications on our way home and Jeanne was so kind even though we were late for pick up.
