I've always had a dog in my life until a few years ago. I now have the time to care for your dog. Our dog lived to be 18 years old. Also, I spent a few summers working for my veterinarian while I was still teaching, so I learned a lot.

Jeanne was wonderful with our Lexi. This was our first time using Rover and our first time leaving her with someone other than family. Jeanne took very good care of Lexi and sent us pictures of her daily as well as updates on how she was doing. We were immediately put at ease when we saw how much fun she was having. We will definitely be using Jeanne again and am grateful for the care she gave our Lexi.

Jeanne is a great sitter and is very accommodating. She took good care of Phoenix while we were away for the weekend and kept me updated throughout the stay. This eased my mind as Phoenix can be nervous in new environments. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!

I've been a teacher, a vet tech, and I've shown dogs for 10 years. Now I'm retired and have time to care for others' dogs.

I have a one-level home with a fenced yard and doggie doors. I'm retired and home every day; I worked for my vet as a vet tech and I've cared for litters of puppies and many senior dogs during my dog show years. I can care for dogs up to 40 lbs, depending on age and temperament. I am not able to walk a dog on a lead for more than 5 minutes now due to an injury, but I do stay in the backyard with them while they run around.
A typical day
We live in a neighborhood with sidewalks and many other families with dogs. We also have a nice sized fenced yard your dog is welcome to play in. If your dog brings a ball, I'm happy to play that game inside and outside.
