Availability
I am at work from 7:30am to 4pm every Monday to Friday. I can do check-ins outside of these times. I can board and do doggy daycare only on weekends (starting Friday evening) and my days off, as I do not feel comfortable leaving any animal alone while I’m at work. I am a school teacher, so during the summer, I’ll be home for a majority of the day throughout the week!

Safety, trust & environment
If I have to leave a pet alone, I will use a pet gate, playpen, or crate as needed so no pet gets into any dangerous situation. For check-ins, I will keep your space as clean as possible, so your pet doesn’t get in any icky situations! I will respect your home and always communicate what I’m doing.

Information Jeanette N. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if a dog needs to be kept away from certain things, like furniture or wires, and whether or not they need to be kept away from other animals during walks or at the dog park. Your pet’s safety is my biggest priority and I would like actively prepare to avoid any dangerous or unhealthy situations.
A typical day
I would frequently bring your pet on walks around the surrounding streets, visit the dog park, and provide indoor play-time as much as possible. My dog-sitting style is to tire them out as often as possible so we get to be couch potatoes together all other times! For cats, I’m good with respecting their boundaries. I know to always let them approach me first! I will play and pet them as much as they want, but won’t do so if it’s unwanted.

Pet care experience
I am an animal-loving, high school science teacher, located in Harrison, NJ (previously in Secaucus, Jersey City and Union City). I welcomed my own puppy home in May 2021 and have plenty of experience taking care of my sisters’ three dogs. I live in a spacious townhouse at a pet-friendly complex that has its own dog park. I’m very good with strict schedules & routines and love taking pictures & videos of my furry friends, so their humans won’t have to worry!

Reviews

Our cat loved her! Very responsible and responsive.

Jeanette was extremely helpful with our pups! She was easily reachable and accessible throughout the process and we felt comfortable with her in our home, with our furry babies!

Jeanette was a great sitter for Mr Pickles! Great communication throughout while she cared for our pet, and very friendly and easy going. Her golden doodle was also great with our furry baby, she kept us up to date throughout the day with pictures and video, totally recommended :)

Jeannette has been coming a few times to take care of my 2 cats . She is great and I can leave with no worries as I know she will take the best care of them
