I provide attentive and compassionate care by ensuring pets are fed, walked, and kept in a clean, safe environment. I enjoy engaging with pets based on their energy—whether that means playing and staying active or providing calm companionship. I also help care for three stray cats in my building by feeding them regularly and maintaining a warm, safe shelter we built for them during colder months. Additionally, I care for my sister’s dog, Ace, when visiting, giving me experience with both cats and dogs of different needs and personalities.

I have known Jean for 11 years and have had him care for my 2 cats several times when I've been away. This includes periods of 3 weeks and sometimes up to 2 months. Since the away time can be so long, it is reassuring to have Jean. He is very responsible and I've always come back to healthy and thriving cats. Once he even provided them with new toys. Jean is a wonderful pet sitter. He took amazing care of my partner and I’s cat who is not the biggest fan of people. His personality brought her right out and I could tell she felt comfortable with having him there. I didn’t worry one ounce!
Jean is my GO TO cat sitter. My previous cat was totally blind and a senior. Jean handled her like a champ and boy was she spicy. I trust him completely to follow the complicated routine for our kitty and to also live in our home and take care of our belongings. He is dependable and responsible. I highly suggest Jean especially for the animals that might need a little extra care. He can handle them all.

Schedule
I am a full-time teacher with the New York City Department of Education, and I’m available for pet care on weekdays after 3:00 PM and throughout the weekends. My schedule allows me to be consistent, reliable, and fully present when caring for your pet.
