Amazing people to work with, wonderful pet sitters. I’m just sad they don’t live closer to me! 🥲 They took such great care of my two little old dogs, I could relax and enjoy my day away. I fully recommend JP and Paloma to care for your pets with no reservations!
If we could leave 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟, we would! Marsh is extremely high needs and JP and Paloma took him on like they’ve known him his entire life. Marsh is rear end paralyzed, so his bladder has to be manually expressed and needs assistance to poop. He needs to wear, and have changed, a variety of garments throughout the day. Their house had to accommodate the various pee pads that need to be strewn about. He has to be taken for walks in a stroller. Marsh has severe anxiety, to the point that we asked that they did not have any visitors - in their OWN home! Nothing is straightforward or predictable with Marsh and they took him on without any reservations. When JP and Paloma say they are experts with special needs dogs, that is an absolute understatement. We can only hope they are up for future sits with Marsh!
We booked Jean and Paloma after two Rover people had to cancel a few days before our trip - a family event, and the longest we have been away from Queenie, our anxious rescue chihuahua mix. Jean and Paloma are fantastic and knowledgeable animal carers. Other reviews described that they were able to manage a complicated medication schedule for their pets, and I believe it. They took the same care with our pup, though she was healthy, letting us know about how she was eating, her behavior, etc. Their rate is higher because they are professionals - and of course Queenie could tell that they love animals. My partner even stayed after picking her up to get training advice. If they're available the next time we need Queenie looked after, I would absolutely request them again. Thanks Jean and Paloma!
Angus was very well cared for and we appreciated regular updates and photos. We were able to relax while out of the country knowing Angus was not distressed and getting everything he needed. Thank you so much.
JP is prompt, attentive, and trustworthy. I love getting the daily updates with photos, making it obvious that my girl loves having him around!
We felt very confident leaving our senior dog with JP. He is calm and experienced in looking after dogs with medication needs. He was also very attentive to our dog’s unique needs and preferences, meaning that our sometimes anxious dog was very comfortable and relaxed while we were away. JP was an outstanding communicator and was very open with us about how things were going. JP is highly trustworthy and we will definitely work with him again. Highly recommend.

I treat every pet’s home and routine with respect and care. For senior dogs especially, stability and safety are key. Your home (or mine) becomes a peaceful haven. I follow every routine to the letter, keep everything spotless and secure, and send updates daily so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands.
A typical day
Depends on the pet and their energy levels. A day with your senior or special‑needs pet is centered around comfort and calm care. I take time for slow, mindful walks, relaxing brushing sessions, soft play as appropriate, and plenty of affection. Every moment is guided by your dog’s energy, mood, and preferences. Their well‑being always comes first. For higher energy pets, I do my best to give them plenty of play time, walks, enrichment, and attention. Updates and pictures are sent on a daily basis and communication is always transparent.
