A typical day
Depends on the pet and their energy levels. A day with your senior or special‑needs pet is centered around comfort and calm care. I take time for slow, mindful walks, relaxing brushing sessions, soft play as appropriate, and plenty of affection. Every moment is guided by your dog’s energy, mood, and preferences. Their well‑being always comes first. For higher energy pets, I do my best to give them plenty of play time, walks, enrichment, and attention. Updates and pictures are sent on a daily basis and communication is always transparent.

We felt very confident leaving our senior dog with JP. He is calm and experienced in looking after dogs with medication needs. He was also very attentive to our dog’s unique needs and preferences, meaning that our sometimes anxious dog was very comfortable and relaxed while we were away. JP was an outstanding communicator and was very open with us about how things were going. JP is highly trustworthy and we will definitely work with him again. Highly recommend.
Jean did a wonderful job taking care of our girl Blizzard who is deaf and needs a bit of extra patience. He sent lots of pictures and updates, followed all instructions and left our house very clean. We would be happy to have Jean stay with Blizzard again!
