Since settling in the countryside four years ago, we’ve opened our doors to guest pets who need a little extra love while their owners are away. We treat every visitor like one of our own! Our resident duo, Bu and Badger, are seasoned hosts who can't wait to show your pet around. Enjoy your time away with total peace of mind, knowing your dog is in experienced, loving hands. Communication is a priority for us. You’ll receive daily check-ins with photos and news about your pet’s adventures. We want you to feel completely connected and at ease while you're away, making your time apart as stress-free as possible.

We recently went away and needed a sitter for our 6 month old Labrador on short notice. Jean Philippe was extremely fast to reply and very professional. His kind nature made Maisie feel secure very quickly! This was our first time leaving our pup and we were incredibly anxious at the thought of leaving her with a sitter, however Jean Philippe exceeded our expectations, kept us well updated and most importantly, cared for Maisie as his own. From being shy when she first met him to running over to him and making sure she said her goodbyes, we couldn’t be happier with her experience and how calm she has been since leaving his home! We will definitely book again in the future if we need a sitter for Maisie, I highly recommend!
Hunter had an amazing time with Jean Philippe. We got constant updates with photos and videos. He clearly made himself at home immediately, like he was family. I couldn’t recommend staying with them enough. With such lovely people, we know we can leave Hunter with them again, with full confidence he will be cared for completely. He is eager to go back.
Socks had a great time. Made new friends and would have stayed longer. Jean Philippe looked after him very well.
We found Jean Phillipe last minute and we are so lucky we did. Ollie loved his time there and we were comforted to know he was so well looked after and he was somewhere he could feel at home. Thank you again!

Schedule
We live in a spacious detached home surrounded by a large, secure outdoor area where your pet can enjoy true freedom and plenty of playtime. Because we both work from home, your dog will never be left alone; we provide 24/7 supervision to ensure their safety, happiness, and well-being around the clock.

We left the noise and business of Dublin 4 years ago to settle in County Carlow, on a countryside settings with a large garden where Bu and Badger roam free. As I work from home, the dogs are never left unattended, and enjoy several walks per day, and games in between. I am strict in regards with diets, all the treats I give my dogs are healthy ones (fruits, carrots, or healthy treats), so rest assure that I would follow to the letter your pet's diet.

A typical day
I believe in a balanced routine that keeps dogs both stimulated and secure. Our days are structured—something senior dogs especially appreciate for a sense of safety—while offering plenty of variety for more energetic guests. Our Daily Routine Includes: - Four walks daily (weather permitting), ensuring plenty of fresh air. - If the weather turns, we pivot to short garden strolls paired with high-energy fetch and ball games. - Between adventures, our home is perfect for relaxation. Your pet can look forward to naps by the fireplace, healthy snacks, and endless cuddles. Whether it’s a busy playtime or a quiet snooze by the hearth, I ensure every dog feels right at home.
