I've house-sit for dogs for family friends and am surrounded by many people with well-loved pets in their homes. As a prior teacher to middle/high school kids, I consider myself fairly patient and understanding as a person, and that of course is included in my love for animals as well!
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Most of the dogs I've taken care of have had very particular needs for diets, or house rules from their owners, so I'm very easy to adjust to accommodate as needed. I also consider myself fairly active and healthy, so especially for walks, am happy to go as long as needed!

J.P. did an excellent job helping take care of my dogs while I was visiting my brother in the Santa Monica area. He was perfect with meeting both of my dogs, despite one of them being very shy, and listened to all of my requests. My expectations were certainly met, and I'd happily hire him again!
JP has been an amazing pet caregiver toward my pets and I would feel completely comfortable with a long term stay with my animal. I highly recommend him for his timely behavior and kindness towards everyone he meets.

Schedule
I'm currently self-employed with a very flexible schedule since I generally work late at night (as a creative). But, I still love to find excuses to get out of the house, especially to walk and explore new areas, so would definitely love to have the company of a furry friend!
