HUGE Grass Yard Maple Valley homeFT
Hi there! I'm Jean and you can bring your dog to my house for individualized care. I have a beautiful, private, securely fenced-in grass yard on a 1/3 of an acre in a quiet neighborhood just outside the Maple Valley area near the new Ten Trails neighborhood. There are lots of shady and sunny spots to roam around in and discover, plus a large deck for relaxing. My house is completely dog friendly and newly remodeled to accommodate indoor play and relaxing. I'm originally from Montana, but have lived in Washington since 1996--first on Alki Beach and now in the delightfully wooded Maple Valley area. I've received two high tech degrees in Washington state since arriving and have worked in the high tech industry throughout my career. I'm semi-retired and stay at home full time, so I have a lot of time--and love-- to give to your beloved pets. The dogs and I enjoy relaxing on my large deck or playing fetch and chase with my labradoodle Lulu and Senior Greyhound Seoul on the expansive grassy lawn. During cold and rainy days, we stay inside and play and relax. We have a HUGE heart for tiny dogs and seniors as well. Our Zoey was a 17 years old Springer Spaniel when she passed away in May 2018. She was good-natured and didn’t mind having other furry friends around, even though she barked a little at the new dogs. She was 107 in human years, so she was just letting the new dogs know she's fragile. Our newest family members are Lulu (4 year old labradoodle) and Seoul Sister our adopted, lovable Senior Greyhound. Both LOVE to play with dogs of any age and size! However, I don’t take puppies that are yet too young to be vaccinated. This is for the protection of your puppy, as well as the dogs that stay here. ALL dogs MUST be fully vaccinated and up to date on preventatives. I'd love to set up a meet and greet with you to learn more about your special pup. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. ***I have a Big heart for senior dogs--my 17 year old Zoey was very dear to me. If your senior has severe issues with bowel or incontinence, I respectfully ask that we defer to puppy care rates because of the amount of time that will be dedicated to caring for, cleaning up after, and making your senior dog comfortable during their stay with me.**** ****Unfortunately, I am unable to take certain breeds including Pit Bulls. I know they are very sweet members of your family, but in my experience they often do not assimilate well with new environments, people, and numerous new dogs. We use Jean every time we need care for Maggie. Jean is very knowledgeable and caring. She has a great yard and space for the dogs. She sends daily pictures of our pup and her playing with the other dogs in Jean's care. We've recommended Jean to others and will continue to entrust Maggie's care with Jean. No need to look any further for a reliable, caring, clean, and safe space for your dog!
I can’t say enough about Jean. She goes above and beyond for my dog. Ducky just started staying at Jeans and has unfortunately had medical issues. I was really worried that Jean wouldn’t want to watch her but Jean is an expert on all things dogs. Ducky had the time of her life and she was well taken care of! I have several future bookings with Jean and I know Ducky cannot wait!
Our girl stayed with Jean over the holiday weekend, had a blast, and came home tired and happy. Jean was great, as always. Highly recommended.
Jean was excellent with my two greyhounds as always. When I had an emergency and needed to keep extending pickup to later in the week, she was very accommodating and I was able to deal with my emergency without needing to worry about my pets.
Jean comes with our highest recommendation. Our dog, Finn, has stayed with her multiple times over the years and he LOVES being at her house. He gets excited as soon as we turn the corner. Jean sends pictures often- and that makes being away a little easier. We trust her wholeheartedly with the well- being of our pup when we have to be away!
It was our first trial stay with Jean and it was amazing. Our sweet girl Ducky is deaf and very active and right before our stay she developed a medical issue. Jean was so accommodating and gave ducky the best care we could have asked for. Always providing photos and updates. We could see on her FI collar she was having an amazing time. On her first day she did over 30k steps which is far more than she ever does at daycare or our house. She just had a total blast. I am so thankful we found Jean! We cannot wait to use her again

Schedule
I am a retired high-tech employee and pet care is my new full-time job. My typical drop off and pick up times are 10 am to 9 pm. If you need an early morning drop off, we can discuss how we can mutually accommodate both of our schedules. ***Please note, my Boarding rate charges are by the Calendar Day. We will discuss drop off and pick up times and the nominal additional charge. ***

My huge grassy, landscaped yard is fully fenced with 6-foot chainlink fencing with an additional 8-foot wood privacy fence surrounding the backyard to provide a stress free, quiet surrounding. The interior of my home is completely dog friendly with stringent protocols in place for a safe and secure environment.
Pets
A typical day
Our grass yard is large and securely fenced, perfect for playtime and lounging in. We'll play ball, frisbee and chase, whatever your dog likes doing. If they want to rest in the yard and enjoy roaming and sniffing, we can definitely do that too! Inside is a casual, dog-friendly environment for low key play and tug of war, and lots of love and cuddles. I take MANY pictures of all of the dogs throughout the day and you’ll receive many of my favorites in the evening. Feel free to check in any time and I’ll send you a quick update and picture of our current events.
