20 years ago rescued my first pup, now can’t stop!
I’ve had pets at home since I was a teen. Rescued a Westie for my girls when they were young and I’ve since rescued 6 more! I’m a sucker for the little old ones who get left at the dogs home 😢 I hate walking without a pup to enjoy it with. I can board at my home, visit and play at their home, if you have questions, please ask.

I can’t thank Jean enough for the wonderful care she gave our slightly bonkers Border Collie, Frankie. From the moment we did the video call and chatted through his routines, I felt completely at ease — Jean’s calm manner and thoughtful questions showed she genuinely understood his energy and needs. Once she took over, she handled all his bursts of excitement and quirky antics with calm confidence and real affection. Jean kept us updated with photos and messages throughout his stay, which meant we could relax and enjoy our time away. If you’re looking for someone you can trust to understand your dog, stick to the rules, and show kindness and fun in equal measure, Jean’s your person. We will definitely be using her again.
Jean is a lovely lady, she was very good with my dog Dennis. He was happy. We will definitely ask Jean again in the future !

Schedule
I work from home most of the week. If I do have to go to the office I can be there and back within an hour. To make life easier for my last little one, Buddy, I bought him steps so he could get on the sofa himself for snuggles. I’d never had a pup that wanted to sleep on the bed but little old Buddy did just that! Because he was a rescue, I didn’t know his background so patience and love are needed, and given in abundance. One of my little friends, a rescue, Jax, was prone to fits and helping him through them became my way of life

I have a front gate so they can’t get out of front garden. Back garden is fenced. No escape routes. No restrictions on furniture, if they want hugs they can have them
A typical day
I hate walking unless I have a dog to take with me so I can’t wait to get back out there. I always make time in the day for play time so bring lots of toys!
