Hi there! Prior to starting Rover in April 2021, I served as a Senior Animal Rights Advocate for The Humane Society of the United States. Throughout my canvassing efforts in the Richmond area, I had the honor of informing the public on current animal rights issues, national/local legislation, and shared how our community could actively stay involved. I have also worked for a small animal hospital in Carytown in the past where I regularly scheduled spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination appointments. I have an extensive amount of experience handling dogs, cats, and rabbits of many sizes! I loved learning about the medical side of pet wellbeing from the veterinarian and vet techs I worked with - I regularly use this clinical experience combined with my compassion for animals to provide the best care possible. I’m a cat & dog mom who has always had a pet growing up (dogs, cats, birds, fish - you name it), so I’ll care for yours as if they’re my own. I’m tidy, kind, and fun - Your pet will be spoiled and loved on so much by me. Not only do I love providing detailed notes for each visit, but I take lots of photos throughout my stay so you're always kept in the loop with how your pet is doing.

Jazmine went above and beyond caring for our pups! This was our first time using Rover for an overnight stay, and she immediately put our minds at ease. Our dogs are incredibly picky eaters, and she was even willing to hand feed them to make sure they ate. We also have a Goldendoodle with severe allergies, and Jazmine carefully followed every instruction, including wiping her down after walks to help keep her symptoms under control. It was clear she truly cared about their comfort and well being. We came home to two happy pups and a spotless house. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are so grateful for the amazing care she provided. Thank you so much Jazmine. We’d absolutely book with you again.

Jazmine was great. She looked over our house, provided plenty of love to our two GSDs, sent tons of photos, and had great communication.
Jazmine was phenomenal! She took great care of my kitties and home while I was away and sent me plenty of pictures as well! :) My home was just the way I left it (if not cleaner) and my cats seem happy! She was extremely helpful/responsive and I look forward to booking with Jazmine again in the future! :)
Jazmine was amazing! She sent photos and updates every day and took extra care of our blind dog. She was able to administer our cat's asthma medication also. Highly recommend her!
Jazmine was an incredible caregiver to our cat and 2 senior dogs. She was consistent with communication, always providing pictures with her updates! We can tell our animals trust her and are comfortable with her staying for several days. Jazmine is also super clean, leaving the house how she found it, if not cleaner! I don’t stress about my animals at all when I leave them with Jazmine!!

Schedule
You can be rest assured that I will dedicate the quality time & care you are looking for. I am typically available on weekday evenings and weekends but have a flexible schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
Staying respectful of your home & privacy while providing quality care is of utmost importance to me. When housesitting, I ensure your pet(s) are comfortable & double check all locks in the house before leaving & going to bed! I take the same precautions for drop-in visits and walks. If you have any special requests, just let me know & I can accommodate!
Pets
A typical day
I’m adaptable, so I can change up my routine with your pet depending on their mood, energy level, etc. I can be their fun playmate or biggest cuddle bug! If your pet is shy like my dog, Daisy, I can bring them to my fenced-in backyard as well. We love adventuring to parks around the city - Some of my favorites are Byrd Park, Barker, and Libby Hill!
