Availability

I am a stay at home mom to two independent teens and have several pets of my own. I am available most days and times, whether for checking in on your pets, or staying the night so they don't get too lonely. If you have a contained/caged animal (like rodents, snakes, etc) that needs to stay out of your house for a given time, that can be discussed. I am unable to keep loose animals in my home due to my own pets.

Safety, trust & environment

I can feed the pets on or off of a schedule, give medications when necessary, clean up after them (outdoor and indoor), brush them, give lots of cuddles and play time. I don't mind kennel/crating them or helping to train the animals. I also have experience with Fluent Pet buttons/talking pets.

Information Jayne J. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if the pet has any medication or dietary needs. I'd also love to know if they have a favorite toy, activity, or even doggy TV show or radio station. If your pet has fears of anything, that would also be great information to have in advance, such as a fear of thunder, certain sounds or loud noises, etc.

A typical day

I can do lots of indoor play, some outdoor play. If ingredients and puzzles provided, I will gladly put together a dog puzzle or set up another enrichment activity they are interested in.

Pet care experience

I'm comfortable with all dog sizes, though am physically limited for some walking (up to 30 minutes per walk), tugging, and lifting. I have plenty of experience giving injections and oral medications. I have a lot of experience training puppies and aided my senior pup who was blind, deaf, and had dementia at the end. I do not mind having to change doggie diapers, either. I also have some experience with hamsters, pigs, birds, snakes, chickens, goats, sheep, horses, etc.

Jayne has been just amazing! She provided drop in service for our cat Bernice for a week and I could not imagine ever getting any better care. She came on a regular schedule every day, took care of all her needs and spent time playing with her. I received pictures and a Rover report after every visit. She even bought her new toys! Bernice and I were extremely happy with Jayne and would highly recommend her.

Jayne loves our dogs like her own. We can always count on our pups having a great visit. She always comes prepared with liver treats in her purse to win over any unsure dogs.
